I took a trip to Sheepdog Warrior in Catskill NY this morning. For anyone ion driving distance who's interested in long range shooting I'd recommend trying it out. I had a fantastic time. It took me about an hour and 45 minutes to get there but I would have been happy even if it was longer. The Catskill's are beautiful this time of year so the scenery is great. The range is off the beaten path but there are signs strategically placed so it's very easy to find. It's by no means a modern facility but it's well maintained logically laid out. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating. Since it was my first time I had to fill out a simple waiver, but that was it. Maryanne(?) explained the range and let me know about some upcoming events, then I grabbed my gear and walked to the port area. There are about 10 ports with wooden benches that you can shoot from or move around if you want to shoot prone. I was shooting from about 10:30 - 11:30 and in that time two other shooters showed up, so it was a busy morning The targets were well painted and the ground around them was well cleared, so it was easy to get clear sight pictures. It was my first time shooting past 300 yards, so i was a little like a kid in a candy shop. I'll absolutely be going back.

Cheap but good! The howa 1500 is a fantastic barreled action. Not a fan of the flimsy safety but it sure shoots. And they guarantee sub moa with match ammo.

I was shooting a bolt rifle I put together at the end of last summer: Howa 1500 24" heavy barrel in .308 WIN Bell and Carlson Varmint stock Primary Arms 4 - 14 FFP scope Cheap bipod I didn't have a rangefinder with me (doh!) so after 400 yards it was a bit of guess work (they have stations marked at 100, 200, 300, and 400 yards). I was able to walk out to targets and get hits a lot further than I expected, but well short of what a more experienced shooter would do. I'm actually really happy that my budget build shoots straight and consistently. I also used mostly my own reloads (168 gr SMK with 43.5 gr IMR 4064), so it's good to know that they were consistent as well.

Just a quick update, waited all day yesterday for my #1 reference to get back to me with his email, got it this morning and completed the online form. Also scheduled and paid for fingerprinting, will be going Friday May 31st so progress has been made.

I would argue that, yes, another half dozen episodes would have helped things be better and not rushed. I would ALSO argue that you could have stolen those half dozen episodes from previous seasons. The moral of the story? Don't wait for GRRM to finish shit and pace things faster than his writing goes form the start. Also posisbly don't buy unfinished shit.

All the Ramsey and Theon scenes?

I agree we all watched the same show, but there were different arcs for different people. That's why it was a big selling point of who gets the throne. It had people invested in different characters.

Unless you get Mayor Pete to do the install for you. Rumor has it that he can suck a golf ball through a garden hose.

This proves my theory that @Ray Ray is always wrong.

I recently separated all of my 308 brass by headstamp and sorted by weight. Illness.

The point being Bolts, adopted long ago, the fringe just finally figuring it out, or not (Ray Ray). Semi's, adoption achieved. Full Auto, belt fed meaning it has infiltrated every corner of 308'dom. RR, FN dont prototype shit unless theres money behind it in a big way...as in someone is asking for it.

This is what 6.5 CM was meant for, to be coming out of a box fed mag. It is definitely not boutique anymore but that would be because of its adoption in bolt guns... NOT semi autos. =P It's simply better ballistics with a good amount of people behind it. Should certainly be safe for the next decade or so.

I'd agree with that. Primarily because he might know where the cable is buried, but the next owner won't, so hitting the conduit while digging, instead of going through the actual wire, might prevent a fireworks show..... or worse...

The references do not have to be long time acquaintances. it can be your gardner as long as he will vouch for you.

Only if you confirm your zero at 200. Lots of little variables can make this not true.

Still infringement regardless. There is no inference of “need” in the 2A let alone “justifiable need”. They can cite all the cases they wish but the fact remains that NJ has instituted a de facto ban on carry and should be struck down. I think cert will be granted and Grewal et al will not prevail.

Which one of you mouth-breathing Neanderthals corrupted my son? I opened my refrigerator earlier to find this abomination: Little bastard knows how to push my buttons!
