Today is a day to honor all the wonderful dads out there... the many unsung everyday heroes who do their best to shape their kids into responsible adults. So, if you're a dad yourself... continued best wishes on that amazing, challenging, rewarding journey! If your own dad is still with us, make sure to reach out to him today. And if, sadly, your dad has passed, lift a glass and quietly toast him today. I'm sure he'll hear you... and smile. Lower receivers are transferred as a "frame" (other) - Not a Rifle, not a pistol. 4473 = Frame COE = says "To be used for Rifle or Shotgun" but NJSP wants then filled out for frames a well.........

It has gone too far in the complete country... but guess what, it will continue unabated, since Americans will allow it, starting with apps on their devices, IoT devices in their homes, Onstar type vehicle trackers, cameras all over the place, Facebook, Google, etc..... The "sheep" will continue to let all their privacy and this data collection to continue, without a whimper... so sad..

Bringing this back from the dead. I thought I’d buy a 2017 Gen 2 Raptor and never completed a deal. I ordered from a dealer in CT for a bit over msrp but it didn’t happen. I let it go for quite some time and recently got the itch again this week and made sure I scratched it today. I scored a 2019 (a lot of nice enhancements for 2019) today and actually took it home. Surprised how nimble it is for something of its size. I was out on the beach for a while tossing sand around but then had to run back to go to a dinner at a friends. Initial impressions are surprisingly balanced, nice ride quality and it’s fast.

While I agree, I’d rather they be a bargaining chip than lose them outright.

I have a problem with my constitutional rights being used as a bargaining chip at a political poker table full of fucking retards, self-aggrandizing muppets, puppets and crooked lying cheats pretending to be politicians

Would it make you feel better if I said most instead of all? Remember we're trying to help a new shooter who wants a handgun. Would I recommend a Hipoint? Of course not. Never owned one. Never will. And I stand by my comment about most new handguns. Almost all are more accurate than 99% of us can shoot em. Are there lemons that were made? Of course. Have you tested lots of handguns in a ransom rest? I have. Can YOU duplicate those results in real life , free hand? I can't. I've watched guys blow away guys while shooting sub compacts, and getting way better groups than guys shooting Walther PPQ Match's and CZ Shadow 2's .,at ranges out to 40 yds.

I don't see it as flaunting in the face of the ATF, per say. They wrote the damn letters. I do agree that if enough attention is given, that the letters could change, and the ATF could flip again. or worse yet, get new legislation passed. I couldn't say about the other states. The issue here is that you need a few laws to align just right for it to fall into the legal category. definitions of rifle, pistol, assault rifles or sawed off, length requirements, banned accessories* I wouldn't, even with a letter from the NJSP, bring one even to a private range. The attention brought to this issues is counter productive.

So that's precisely the problem... what percentage of gun buyers are reloaders? Off the top of my head for the guns I own I would not buy these if I did not reload.... 1. Springfield XDm 45 GAP. 2. All of the 9mm Makarovs... 3. Swedish Mauser 6.5 Sweed 4. The two Swiss 7.5 Swiss 5. 41 Remington Mag revolvers 6. Jap Arisaka 7. All of the 8mm Mauser guns. And the new bolt guns in 6.5 PRC, 300 PRC, and likely 6.5 CM. Factory ammo is avail but it is stupid expensive. 6.5 CM is gaining a lot of new buyers so ammo is basically on par with regular quality 308. There are simply more people who buy factory 9mm, 40 sw, 45 acp than folks who effectively now reload 10mm, 357 sig, FN 5.7. Fortunately, even in 9mm, due to rising popularity of gun games and suppressors, 147 grain 9mm is getting more and more available without having to be loaded. And let's be honest here... how many fans of 10mm are fans of 10mm cause it is different. lol. We all have those things. That is why I keep jokingly supporting 45 GAP. Commercially a FAILURE BUT... it is unique. lol. Humn, maybe I will go load up some.

In the '60's we called it "playing army". We'd run around the woods shooting each other arguing more if i got you than we were saying "bang". If there wasn't enough toy guns to go around we'd use sticks. Where there's a will there's a way.
