Agreed 10,000,000%!!! I swear, some of you guys would nit-pick a blowjob. (apologies for the vulgarity Peel) Isn’t this exactly the kind of win we need? Isn’t this exactly what we constantly say needs to happen to get our legitimate point regarding personal protection across to the other side? This is not a flip-flop. This is not a “It is good for me and not for thee” moment. This is, “Holy Shit! Violence happens with a quickness. You need to be able to protect yourself. Your safety is your responsibility! So go out there and prepare yourself to be able to defend yourself.” As an elected official, a Dem no less, this guy is going door-to-door and trying to educate people on the 2A. Rep. Ford could have just as easily hired bodyguards or requested an ISP protection detail/driver and been silent on the topic. Instead he learned from his experience and realized he is no more special than anyone else.

Finally had the chance to spend a good amount of time with the gun. At this price point, there is no reason not to get one!

Eh, why criticize this? It is a double standard when he's clearly encouraging OTHERS to do it too? Rather than a political flip-flop, the incident might have been a "wake-up call" for the guy. Lots of people are anti-gun... until something violent happens to them... they witness the lightning-fast speed during which it unfolds (seconds, not minutes)… and they realize, "wow, the cops could never have gotten here on time". That's a sobering thought. If getting his car shot up is what it took to get Rep. Ford to pick up the clue phone and realize that legal gun owners and concealed carriers are NOT the problem... so be it! Let's just take the win.

OK, I heard back from the author and the article is a fiction. I also heard back from the AT Editor, who was 'chagrined' that he didn't know it was fiction when he posted it. The AT editor has now labeled the story as Satire. I however have no doubt that similar scenarios can and do occur on U.S. college campuses, and not just in the climate change arena. My main takeaway of the 'story' was that with the enormous number of unpredictable variables that interact and change independently over time, any model drawing conclusions demanding a wholesale restructuring of our energy production (and only OUR energy production) and economy are farcical at best, and rife with political motivation. If the current cadre of climate change alarmists followed the 10X suggestion of: I'd be a lot more inclined to take them seriously. That is not the methodology being followed today. Not to mention a media run by the likes of Chuck Todd: “We’re not going to give time to climate deniers. The science is settled even if political opinion is not. We’re not going to debate climate change, the existence of it. The Earth is getting hotter and human activity is a major cause. Period.” Meet The Press, 12/30/2018 And there in a nutshell is the progressive model. Don't annoy me with other facts. Sit down and shut up.

That's the point, as usual, the politicians are passing laws dealing with extremely small, fringe issues. There's a lot of BIGGER issues that need to be addressed than educating gun dealers on suicide. I don't know the stats for how many people commit suicide right after buying a gun in the state, but I'll take a wild guess, and say you can count them on both hands, and have some fingers left over.... maybe even a whole hand...

If you feel like you are going to puke, MAKE yourself puke. Get it over with or you stay miserable all day. You will feel alot better after puking. Peanut butter and jelly sammich and water after. I have puked with the best of them, and cant wait to get back out there again.

The past few posts .. Granted we can disagree with whether or not it was smart to contact NJSP, the guy gave us the favorable answer that we all knew to be true. Green light to build, buy current and future non-NFA guns as long as they meet the guidelines laid out in the original approval letter. Showing them off here or on facebook is the same as showing off any other gun on social media ( I see both sides of that argument). But to think that suddenly opening a thread on here will open us up to legal changes as compared to any other thread is a little ridiculous. Politicians are always looking for ways to reinterpret or change the AWB. Might as well as shut down this whole forum as a major part of it is showing and advising people on how to legal build/buy firearms that they dont want us to have in the 1st place

Not hide, but my personal preference is not to advertise either.

Why hide something that is legal?

Just a reminder that if Dems didn't have double standards, they wouldn't have ANY standards at all.

JHCTDOAC, I am SO glad I left NJ, a lotta 'gun owners' in NJ are a bunch of fags, some idiot did just as I predicted! Look for all this crap to be banned very shortly, via 'reinterpretation' of the AWB statute.

A whole lot of fake ass freedom lovers out there. Drive to your local police station and just turn in your lawfully acquired property now. Then let us know so we can count you out of the boogaloo.

his taxes would triple. Not joking either; lots of towns have fucked up tax rulings about that. I've seen many a "tear down" that left a wall or 3 standing, and built the house off of those, as there's a percentage of the old house that had to remain to keep the tax base the same.

Who the hell were they yelling to? lmao.... doubt the sub heard anything...hehehe.... I gotta say, I went on patrol down Station Barnegat while on vacation once years ago doing inspections in the channel on a 41 footer. (Was down there for vacation and family day)... Anyway, a very cranky channel on a hot and humid day with no breeze. You sniff the diesel exhaust that hovers around your head like a cloud and the swells in the channel got you bouncing. By time we got back to base, they said I was purple and green. The Coxswain and OD were the calmest guys I ever met.The Cox maneuvered the boat with one hand doing both screws. Bow always pointing at the vessel as it rotated around it like a satellite. The boarding crew seemed to have magnetic boots and they never got thrown around as you might suspect on hectic water. Cox was a big guy. Told him I admired his precision. He said, 'piece of cake. I owned a clam boat down Louisiana'. 'Did it all the time'. Didn't stop me from having burgers, beer and playing horseshoes... lol... Never disregard the Coasties as being not a formidable foe. Call them what you want, Puddle Pirates, Hooligans Navy, but they are always on watch... Semper Paratus!

So, all this just so one can have a 4" shorter less accurate barrel, an uncomfortable "stock", a useless front grip, and a flash hider which minimally suppresses a flash, AND pay twice the price for it. GET OUT OF DODGE PEOPLE!!!!
