Two Arabs boarded a flight from Washington to New York. One sat in the window seat, the other in the middle seat. Just before take-off a little Israeli guy got on and took the aisle seat next to the Arabs. He kicked off his shoes, wiggled his toes and was just settling in when the Arab in the window seat said, “I think I’ll go up and get a Coke.” “No problem,” said the Israeli, “Stay there, I’ll get it for you.” While he was gone, the Arab picked up the Israeli’s shoe and spat in it. When the Israeli returned with the Coke, the other Arab said, “That looks good. I think I’ll have one too.” Again, the Israeli obligingly went to fetch it, and while he was gone the Arab picked up the other shoe and spat in it too. The Israeli returned with the coke, and they all sat back and enjoyed the short flight to New York. As the plane was landing the Israeli slipped his feet into his shoes and knew immediately what had happened. “Acchh, how long must this go on?” he asked. “This enmity between our people…this hatred…this animosity…this spitting in shoes and pissing in cokes?”

OK, so if Red Flag laws can trigger firearm confiscation because someone is 'unstable', 'dangerous', 'mentally ill', 'threatening' etc., then why don't these laws also trigger some kind of treatment or at least and examination for that individual? Perhaps they should. Note: I was advised this morning that my PA attorney will be arguing exactly this point at the Harrisburg hearings later this month.

Try a new BCG from a rifle you know works and put the new BCG in a rifle that you know works.

Two things I would check: 1) carbon build up in the gas block? Plug the back end of the chamber, and Use an Air Gun to blow air into the barrel from the muzzle end. This should route the air through the gas block port and blow any debris back through the gas tube. 2) Remove gas block and see if the hole (port) in the barrel is properly drilled, and there are no burrs blocking the gas port. Also check for proper alignment between the hole in the barrel & the hole in the gas block.

Try 223 ammo instead? And whose barrel is it? Sure it is 223 wylde and not another variant? And the does it rack and extract fine otherwise?

I suspect the dwell time of the rifle length gas system is too fast and not pushing enough gas pressure to effectively cycle the action

And have you tried the upper on a known working lower with a known working BCG? How is the barrel cut? How does the brass look? Possible the chamber was cut poorly and holding up the brass? Does the gun fully cycle when you manually rack the bolt and then extract it?

What kind of gas block? Adjustable or fixed? Is it on there properly? Does it cycle ANY rounds or short strokes every round? What kind of ammo?

I was praying you would chime in! I did try another lower from a known working carbine. Same effect! I do have an A2 clone and I will try that one with the rifle length tube and buffer. I always thought an 18" barrel with a rifle length gas tube should work with a carbine lower. Both lowers worked exactly the same, no change in the short stroking. I did try a known good BCG as well with no change. I checked the cuts on the rings of both bolts and both were properly staggered.

At the quarter mile it's pork roll by a length... New to NJ: This is what we do when we're not bitching about gun control.

Yes and what’s worse is these are the “good times” .......it’s going to be akin to Kristallnacht after the next election. *For those not familiar with the reference, edited to today’s situation: Hitler (next president) signed a new gun control law in 1938 (2020), which benefitted Nazi (Democratic) party members and entities, but denied firearm ownership to enemies of the state. Later that year, in Kristallnacht (the Night of the Broken Glass), in one fell swoop, the Nazi (Democratic) regime disarmed Germany’s (United States) Jews (Conservatives). Without any ability to defend themselves, the Jewish (Conservative) population could easily be sent to concentration (re-education) camps for the Final Solution.

I've got a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder that I just lost one of the remotes for. Ordered 2 on Amazon for $10, programmed them yesterday (takes < 5 minutes), and all is well. Granted, older vehicles don't have the fancy integrated emergency key, but if you are in doubt about ordering replacements from Amazon they seem to work fine.

I heard Republicans talking about this the other day and they were going to include it in the next bill. Just kidding, Republicans (as usual) are asleep, they haven't said a peep... Why is that?

Not sure of the quality of components going in to theirs BUT the Troy has had a price drop as far as I know. And no way in hell am I buying a Tactical Timmy oriented "SPECIAL OPS TACTICAL" firearm. <As seen on TV Voice> Have you always wanted to to have the same guns as the SPECIAL FORCES OPERATORS? If so, you can have this Special OPS AR-15... but wait... if you order now, we will upgrade you to the Special OPS TACTICAL version! The components look okay, but geez... the name is totally cringe worthy catered towards the Tactical Timmys.

The sad/ugly truth is people as a whole are lazy and wont, they will grumble about it but continue to shop there because it’s close/easy/cheap.....same as the “shall not infringe”/ “molon labe” chest pounders, cars stickered all up, 70%of their wardrobe is T-shirt’s with those phrases, online in one post pontificating how no more, not one more inch, etc etc .... then the next day talking how cool a single shot ar 15 is, accepting and ready to buy one to comply and kiss the kings ring hoping for a radical change in the laws/social climate is coming The farther it’s allowed to go the less chance there is to right the ship .......unfortunately I believe it’s been allowed to go to far in the wrong direction already, they have built up too much steam through successes to be able to stop or turn it around now.....all the incrementalism that’s been taking place for years has allowed them to set things up for the future .....and that future is painfully close

If you hit REFRESH about 4 times, it gives you an option to get in without disabling the add blocker. It is a small note on the bottom of the splash screen that comes up, you have to look for it.

You might be technically legal to carry a long-gun around, unloaded, and in a locked case where legal, but I could almost guarantee that more often than not that if you were driving an SUV and the police officer saw a long-gun case, locked, and in the back of your vehicle, you would not be allowed to go on freely. You would be taken in whether you had an FID card or not, and would have an "arrest" record, and you would have some trouble sorting it all out, technically legal or NOT. Case Law intead of legal statute would be sited in this anti-Right Republic. And, even if you are going to the range at a suitable time of the day and in the correct direction, it would behoove you to follow all traffic laws and carry an FID card. Remember, all firearms in NJ are illegal, and unless you fall under one of the exemptions and can prove that you have to an often less-educated person carrying a gun and his or her bosses, then you will have a problem.
