^^^PROOF that you've already been brainwashed into a good little, still wet behind-the-ears typical NJ gun owner that wants to always pick up the TURD in the swimming pool by the CLEAN END! I've been doin' this firearms thang for over 48 YEARS. In all of that time I've never heard of a "perfectly clean case" of a gun owner getting hung out to dry. Allen, Aitken, even the 70+ yr old history teacher from So. Jersey with the 300 year old flint-less flintlock hand gun (a piece of metal pipe with wood wrapped around it, since a FLINT in the jaws of the guns' hammer is required to make a spark for ignition!) wrapped in a dinner napkin & stored in a car's glove box. They all had fingers pointing at them. They all had been pulled over for a tiny infraction. Don't hold yer breath waitin' for it (the TURD with the CLEAN end) to happen either! There's always some piece of minutia that gives guys (it's ALWAYS GUYS---cause women are MUCH smarter when it comes to this shit!) the bravado to point fingers without knowing ALL of the facts, and then try the case in their own tiny minds and then broadcast the results on social media. As IF we actually CARE what the uninformed think about OUR RIGHTS & how we exercise them, lol. Then they need a SAFE place when guys like me that have seen it all & done it all call them out. I rode around with a scattergun all day today. Did the same since SUNDAY. Might do it again tomorrow too. It's legal, even here in Jersey, so why not? "riding around with guns while not going to the range". Really? You mean forgetting he was driving in the Communist People's Republic of New Jerseystan, right? WHO was he hurting besides brainwashed NJ gun owners? As a "2A Leader" I don't get to pick & choose age, race, marital status, education level, hard-headedness, laziness, number of cavities in their mouths, stupidity level, etc., etc., of the VIC of overzealous NJ gun law. I DEFEND you no matter how many forum members want to throw you under Da-Bus. WHY? Because I care MORE about the 2nd Amendment itself, and the ABUSE of 2A than I do about the opinions of a Stockholm Syndrome-affected NJ gun owner that thinks a "firearms inspection" at a range is acceptable. @Mrs. Peel @Zeke USRifle30Cal I need a drink!

No. This is an example of someone makes a credible threat and you can arrest them without red flag laws. The very fact that every state already has legal framework in place to do such things is EXACTLY why you should understand red flag laws are explicitly NOT about that. Not even a little.

I like it. Set up committees, hearings and headlines. " So Mr/Mrs Democratic Congress Critter, can you conclusively say that no democrat has colluded with Iran to take down the U.S. govt:?" " Of course not, I can't possibly know what every official has been doing!" Next days headlines- Democratic Party can not be exonerated from colluding with Iran to harm the U.S.....

Holy circular firing squad. So the people who ran this criminally negligent activity also ran that live fire training event? If this video represents the standard they maintain, I would argue that the shooting of the attendee in the neck would not be considered an accident. It would be gross f*&$ing negligence. I realize I wasn’t there, but to call this an accident is like calling a completely drunk guy running over three kids on bikes, “an accident”. Its incompetence on methamphetamine.

They are suspending civilian production for 60 days in order to fulfill a contract, which I presume to be military. The sky is not falling.

No live weapons should have been allowed anywhere near the training area. I wasn’t there, so I won’t speculate on what happened but someone dropped the ball on the safety check list somewhere big time. If this was one of the classes I was running, this guy would have had to have gotten past multiple checkpoints in multiple layers of safety areas that were each staffed with safety personnel whose sole job is to treat you like there was a million dollar bounty for every gun and bullet they find.

Picked up a Walther PPQ Q5 Match. Sweet! But I always like the M1 because of the paddle magazine release. Sooo, I bought a PPQ Classic and switched the uppers. Both the original trigger pull of the Q5 and the Classic averaged 4lb-15oz according to my Lyman Digital Gauge. Take-up was about 0.5" and reset to about 0.25". Not satisfied with that, although it is better than any trigger out there other than a 1911, I installed the Apex Flat-Faced Forward Set Trigger. Take-up was reduced to about 0.25" and reset to about 0.15". Trigger pull now averages 4lb-9oz. One more tweak to be done with a lighter trigger spring and I'll be set. Oh. And I upgraded the mags to 17 rounds and also installed the Leupold Delta-Point Pro. I likes it.

This has been out for a couple days. Most likely a marketing decision. Many other companies sell a better AR for less money! I don't think this was an anti 2A move by Colt.

This. What is the benefit for the US to put our blood and treasure ($$) on the front line? Let the Saudi’s drive this. We can help our ally as much as we can without putting our troops in jeopardy.

I read through 2C:39 and could not find a definition for the following: "daggers, dirks, stilettos, or other dangerous knives". There are three types of knives that are defined: Gravity Knife, Ballistic Knife, and Switchblade. What is the NJ definition of "daggers, dirks, stilettos, or other dangerous knives"? I cannot find it anywhere. Who is to say that a double edged knife like the OP posted is a dagger? I would define it as a double edged boxcutter.

Each oil tank appears to have several rather large holes, but none big enough to be from a cruise missile. A cruise missile would have annihilated those tanks. I think they sent multiple GPS guided drones (basically, fire-and-forget) at each tank, just to make sure at least one reached it's objective. The drones were probably more airplane like, probably a smaller version of the Reaper. I heard something interesting tonight. It's pretty much a foregone conclusion that Iran is directly, or indirectly responsible for the bombings. The question is; why would Iran attack the Saudis? Iran loves to be assholes, no doubt, but this was more than just being a-holes. Iran carried out the attack, as part of a broader plan, to drive the US into a recession. Hmmm, who else wants the US to fall into a recession, I believe it's the democrats and late night ass hat hacks who call themselves comedians. Simply put, Iran bombed the tanks in an attempt to foil Trump's aspirations for re-election. While the attack seems impulsive, it was but a part of a larger plan. Stay tuned folks, more to come.

If I'm reading that correctly, it looks like it applies only to "commercial sales," is free of charge, and no records will be kept of the transaction, so no registry. Also, it does not apply to lending guns to friends or family at a range, or while hunting. Seems like a good way to give the antis their beloved "background checks," and then tell them to STFU. Has anyone else noticed that whenever Democratic politicians of members of the mainstream media talk about background checks, they also say that it has anywhere from 90-97% approval? Doesn't it seem that when pollsters ask people, "Should there be background checks?" the average person doesn't know that they are already done for most sales, so they just say, "Sure, that sounds like a good idea.," hence the high approval number.

As i figured the cruise missle news story is bullshit. Probably the same guy that reported that an AR 47 has a high capacity clip that fires 30 magazines per second

A cruise missile has about 250 pounds of high explosive, or thereabouts. The tanks would not exist. By the way, in the extreme lower right corner of the picture is a pickup truck, for a sense of scale. The damage to the tanks would be consistent with cruise missiles made of twice-baked potatoes.

The media is saying that cruise missiles were used? If that were the case, this picture would show bent and twisted pipelines and chunks of metal from what was left of the storage tanks. NOT tanks with holes in them.

Glad you enjoyed the outdoor range. You'll enjoy the indoor even though you can't use black powder, a scattergun or rifle calibers. Pistol caliber carbines (9, .40 & .45) are fine, and any .22LR platform. We have a SAFE TABLE. Holster draw is allowed. Don't practice above your skill level. Clean up after yourself, turn-off lights & ventilation system. D-Lead soap is provided. Restrooms are clean. Use the meeting room for an organized pizza party w/ members & guests (see guest policy) if you so desire or perhaps just a sammich by yourself, just clean-up after yourself. YOU are your own RO. Don't shoot the walls, floor or ceiling, as CCTV will capture it all. Run by members FOR members. Follow the rules, have fun & BE SAFE! Check the League calendar & pound on the door if there's cars in the parking lot. Bring eyes & ears, a sammich & coffee from Wawa just up the road. Ask to WATCH because you're considering joining. Learn thru osmosis. Enter into discussions. ASK questions. LEARN THINGS! Then show-up on the 2nd Sunday for the Sign-Up & Safety Check at 8:45am SHARP. Bring a checkbook or CASH (no cards accepted), a handgun of a caliber on the allowed list, a box of ammo, your mags, eyes & ears. It's literally THAT easy! Rosey

Doesn't matter how it really affects the oil supply. It's just an excuse to raise rates anyway.

Maks, I get it man - I really do you know that - but why is it always about us gun owners? What I mean by that is, why do we always push he blame to the actor? yeah he effed up he kept shit in plain view... But isn't it just as bad that we accept this tyranny? Isn't it just as bad that where discretion might be able to be given it is not.....? We as gun owners are in for a world of hurt - *all* of us from the pistol guys, to the hunters, the shotgun sports guys, to the tacticool guys, idpa guys etc..... Make no mistake it matters not the type of gun - THEY WANT THEM ALL and will make examples of ALL OF US one way or another. Whether you are in PA NJ AZ CO SC....etc... This guys "stop" is one example how all of us will be treated in the coming years.

What was his true crime that was hurting someone ????...this was the proverbial victimless crime Was he dealing meth?....damn nope...heroin mule??? Seems not... Oh wait he had a kilo of coke...! ..no.. He had a lil girl tied up in his backseat....?...nope... He murdered someone? ...nah... See, some of all the others above usually get some kinda break..... He was very evil....he had legal items..that are legal 5 miles west of his point of failure to signal......his crime is he came back into this God forsaken shithole state.....and left legal items from America on his seat....he is guilty of his own negligence. And you thinking its right to jam him and his family up over a victimless crime...speaks volumes to your elitist millenial attitude. You are nothing but an ignorant fool. 20mo and counting...never to be here again....

It's an interesting thought @BobA. Ronnie Barrett won't sell his Barrett rifles to Kali or any dept. in Kali. I met Ronnie Barrett last Sept. at the NRA Board of Directors meeting in Arlington, VA. I'll bring it up the flag pole & see who is fired-up enough to give it a good shot ~R

This too. I've read many a post about out of spec gas ports. It does not happen often, but often enough that it comes up every now and then. #1, eh, not so much. 15K+ PSI is a pretty good pipe cleaner.

He better pray for probation or pre-trial intervention. Ain't no way Murphy is going to pardon him. I'm not comfortable with cops turning a blind eye toward felonies that have 5 year mandatory punishments just because the laws are stupid.
