I was cleaning a few handguns from my last range trip and I got to counting - I have separate 5" 1911 handguns in .22lr, 22TCM, 9mm, 10mm and .45ACP. I guess I need to keep an eye out for .380 & 38 Super Just curious how many calibers others have in a single platform. I realize Glocks come in just about every commercial caliber out there so maybe that's the most versatile? What other platforms offer as many choices?

Hello fellow NJ gun owners!!! I have been checking out the forums for the last few months, and finally set up an account and want to really start to learn. I live in Clark, NJ, and I frequent RTSP in Union. Fantastic place, and the people there are awesome. So far, I own a Sig P320, Berreta M9, CZ-75 Tactical. My first was the M9, and I really like it, but my favorite is the CZ-75. Sorry for taking long to do the introduction, I didnt realize that was part of the newbee process Looking forward to learning alot!

Damn newfangled contraptions. I don't trust none of these hi falooitin gizmos, no Facebook, twitter, clitter that cloudy sky up there or any other such thing. I already hate that I get followed on the computer and cell phone. And Bezos has way too much control/info on just about everything between Ring, Amazon and the Wapo and who knows what else.

Yup, that's why the camera system I'm getting ready to install at my home will use the Blue Iris software running on a cheap-o dedicated PC. No one else gets the video unless I give it to them, and it is crazy configurable as far as motion detection/alerts/geofencing.

i think oregon is doing it already. pretty sure other states are too. the "fair" way to do it? vehicle weighs (for instance) 4500# curb weight with 7,000# GVW. take into account what the average fuel mileage would be for vehicles in that weight class. now you've got the average tax revenue lost due to that vehicle. add that lost revenue yearly to the registration cost. lets see how these people like their electric cars when the true cost hits em.

Respectfully Bob, I think you should actually read the "petty details" a little more in these cases. - The two homeowners who were killed had NO criminal record. They sold NO drugs to any undercover officers. - The story from a neighbor about the alleged drug sale to a kid was a LIE. That neighbor is listed in the article that details the arrest of the officers. - That LIE from the neighbor made its way to one of the detectives who further LIED and said an informant purchased drugs from the homeowners. Those lies were used as the basis for the no-knock warrant. As a result you have two homeowners with NO CRIMINAL RECORD sitting at home at 4:00 one afternoon and the door gets kicked in and someone shoots your dog. They return fire and are killed. Most cops are good, but the bad cops screwed up royally here and got people killed. Like you, my reaction is to support police officers but you can't be an ignoramus about it. Calling people scumbags because they got killed by bad cops is poor form...

Alinsky tactics do work. Up until the point you suicide yourself after you poison all of your children... Now if we could just get the Hobbyists, the Fudds, the Collectors, the Competition Shooters, the hand Gunners, the Riflemen, the Scattergunners all on the same page?? Why are we so consumed with pork roll vs. Taylor ham around here? Or nit-picking over FOPA vs. intrastate firearms transportation interpretations? Or never studying the exceptions & exemptions allowing us serfs to even have firearms? Or worried about GUN stickers on our vehicles? It's as if we wake up every day a little more stupid, a little more ignorant, a little more willing to be the very sheeple we write & complain about.... "I use a fake screen name so The MAN can't find me"....until the MAN threatens Maks or his family (it's SARCASM Buckwheat)! 3% did it back in 1775. Stop worrying about pork roll & study history. Are YOU going to bad mouth 2A organizations or renew your membership? I don't even care which one. Join them ALL! Are you going to take the time to get informed or are you the ignorant problem child that has great ideas but ZERO follow-thru "cause I paid my dues so they should #DoSomething !"? Well guess what, you're ALL the people that need to be the ones #DoingSomething ...BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! https://www.cnjfo.com @USRifle30Cal

Anyone ever use Google Earth and come across places that look like a range but no range is advertised to be there? Usually a very private one. My father who lived in North Jersey found one way up in the hills of Newton township. I'm sure some people with big money and have lots of land can make their own ranges.
