5 pointsHere's a well written review of the Oral Arguments that is worth the read. It is positive and gives some hope that relief may be forthcoming from the SCOTUS: https://shorenewsnetwork.com/2019/12/06/supreme-court-hears-gun-rights-case-arguments/

2 pointsHi all, I've been a Beretta 92 fan ever since I got back into the shooting sports, a 92FS Inox was my first purchase many years ago. Since then I've been able to gather "several" of them. The last thing I needed was another standard 92FS, but this was part of a collection my FFL got from a police seizure. Let's just say it was pretty beat up with a price that reflected the condition. So, I decide to send it out to get cerakoted, and figured let's try something a bit different - Sniper Gray slide and frame with black barrel and controls. I added the grip and the hammer. I like the look so much I think Beretta should offer it as a stock item. I know they have a version with a gray frame but that has a black slide. Pic for comparison next to a standard model. Since I have another I think I'll do an OD Green frame with a black slide and controls.

2 pointsOh you are wrong. He is definitely in it to win it. You are just confused by the fact that he doesn't have to be president to have won. He want's power and influence. He wants to have more of it than anyone else. That's his goal. He's running so that he'll either be president, or that he will be the guy steering the democratic party. He's fine with either. Right now in the DNC there's a fight between the hillary branch and obama branch of the DNC. More accurately team hillary controls hillary's donors and team obama controls obama's donors, they don't necessarily have much if anything to do with the personal opinions of either hillary or obama. There's nobody big enough in the party to make these two factions play nicely together and nobody charismatic enough to do it either. Which is why we have all this neo-marxist leftism getting big air time. It's trying to buy influence with sound bites instead of dollars. Intended or not, this is making a lot of the people providing the money on both those lists hesitant to continue donating money. Bloomberg has money. There's a power vacuum right now. He'll be the president or he'll be the new Soros.

2 pointsI believe you are correct. Bloomberg's entry into the race, The phony impeachment which is designed to sideline warren and sanders are all a play to open up the nomination for hillary clinton. Its time for AG Barr to reopen the clinton e-mail crimes and lock her up!

2 pointsI'm confused. If his property was seized by the Monmouth County sheriff's department (as per the lawyer's letter), why is he seeking redress from the Mercer county prosecutor. Not too impressed with the lawyer's letter either. Adios, Pizza Bob

1 pointWhat really burns me about Bloomberg is he is such a $(%&^)#$ hypocrite on guns. Here's an example of the security detail he traveled with when he was mayor: He apparently loves being in Berumuda at his house there - it was an issue when he was mayor, how much time he actually spent in NYC vs. Bermuda. He apparently obtained special permission for his security detail to be armed in Bermuda when most police there do not have firearms: https://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/26/nyregion/26bermuda.html

1 pointThe sad part is that there will be gun owners throughout the U.S. who vote for him believing that he will not take away their trap guns or turkey guns. after all nobody needs an AR-15 with a 100 clip action to hunt. BTW, and speaking of FUDDS, have any of the candidates dressed up in hunting clothes yet pretending to be 2A supporters and heading out into the fields chasing some upland birds?

1 pointHe has only one job in this election. Bring the party candidates to a more central position. He will not nor does not want to win. Do NOT get lost in the woods!

1 pointNot sure I follow. Generally speaking you can put any scope on any brand rifle. You'd want to avoid anything that says it's designed for "rimfire" as the recoil on the .308 could lead to damage, but otherwise brands aren't a consideration. As to MOA vs MIL, that's a personal preference. Once you zero your scope you make your adjustments for windage and elevation accordingly. There are lots of discussions about scopes on the precision shooting forums so it's worth searching for some of those and reading through the posts. There are elitists who say that any scope under $2,500 is garbage, and die-hards who say any cheap glass is fine as long as you know how to shoot, so the truth lies somewhere in between. If you're on a budget Primay Arms scopes are a good value for the money. Next level up is Athlon, then Vortex, and then you're into the +$1,200 range. Regardless of the scope you buy, you need to know some detail about the ammo you use and the shooting conditions in order to effectively dial-in your shots. I use this free online calculator to create a dope chart when I'm shooting long distances: http://www.shooterscalculator.com/ballistic-trajectory-chart.php At a minimum you should plug in the weight of your rounds, velocity, zero range, and wind conditions to build your chart. From there you can dial your scope based on the distance of your targets.

1 pointBack to water. I takes a hell long time to freeze 50 gallons, water has the best caloric retention of anything, next in line is soapstone. Soapstone blocks used to be used as bed heater’s back in @GRIZ formative years. I digress, remember flushing da toilet, if you are septic. That doesn’t need to be potable water
