Ok, I know there was a thread a while ago on this but figured I'd start a new one. Let's see 'em! I have the 92G Langdon Tactical, M9A3 FDE, Wilson Combat 92G, Wilson Combat Compact, 92FS Inox with Silver controls, another 92FS Inox with black controls, A 92FS with OD Green frame, a 92FS in Sniper Gray, and a 8040 Cougar NRA edition. Not shown is a 92S Surplus Italian police model.

Agreed. It’s their answer to everyone making awesome optics for match guns. I was able to cast an eye thru one. I’d really like one but will stick with the Venom as it works really well and is wayyyyy cheaper.

Why would anyone care, or want one; especially now that you can get an "OTHER" with a rifled barrel? This didn't make sense when it came out, and it makes even less sense now............ jmo

Just got my property back from Monmouth Couty Sheriff's. All items are accounted for and free from damage. Each LEO that I talked to was very sympathetic to my situation and felt sorry for the position that I was put in by the MCPO. To quote one of them "Just because we enforce the law doesn't mean that we agree with it". Good to know that the Anti-2A stance of the Prosecutors' is not shared at the local level, as least in the people I spoke with.

Providing an update. After filing the motion and brief, last Friday my lawyer's office recieved a letter from the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office BACKDATED to November 13, 2019 (day 44 of the statutory 45 day period) that they were not objecting to the return of my weapons. I would like to thank the MCPO for not informing me or my lawyer of this back in November, wasting both our time and my money in drafting unnecessary legal documents to ensure their compliance with New Jersey statutes. I am going tomorrow to retrieve the rest of my property from Monmouth County Sheriff's Office. I thank everyone who has donated. Dave

So I mentioned sending another 92fs out for cerakote in OD green - see pics. I like the look with the black slide and controls. I also updated the Sniper Gray with different grips and a threaded barrel. This can get addicting...

https://www.nj.com/news/2019/12/gun-dealers-accused-of-selling-high-capacity-magazines-in-nj-are-sued-by-state.html Grewal suing florida store for selling rifle magazines to NJ detective. I find it interesting that he is requesting sales data back to 2014. Also it is time for these free states to start fighting back, first thing I can think of is to immediately stop recognizing NJ drivers licenses, Since driving is not a right and NJ is now issuing drivers licenses to criminal aliens they should require anyone operating a vehicle within their state in which the operators state issues criminal aliens a license to first obtain an non-resident drivers license. deny all driver reciprocity to any such state.

Trijicon recommends the RMR06. I have a couple of the version 1 RMR offerings as well as an RMR02, nice optics one and all. That being said, I have two Holosuns, a 407 (Red dot) and a 508T (green dot). Wow. These are nice options. Fraction of the cost of the RMR bigger viewing window, reliable, and tough - especially the 508T with the Titanium housing. I am also really digging the green dot. Really stands out.

I am curious if they advertised in NJ to sell them, or if they contacted them for the sale why are they ordering 30 rnd mags if they are illegal ?
  13. 1 point
He wants their records. So they can go after any NJ residents who ever used them. same reason they brought the lawsuit. Either to scare the business (who prob can’t fight in NJ’s legal/financial weight class), or to claim the records during discovery. The result is the same. The business is in financial ruin, the market is scared of NJ, and the residents lives are ruined.

This is so they can say that nj residents are still able to gain access to these evil items via online sales. Thus rolling out the complete ban of ordering ammo gun parts from online retailers.

FYI: As per Trijicon - the SRO is not a “duty” rated optic. That is straight from the Trij reps mouth when asked about using it on our G17 for patrol.

At Cheyenne's today I signed up with U.S. Law Shield. I would encourage everyone to do so. They said if I had signed up before my weapons were taken, they would have covered my fees 100% instead of me having to pay $1,600. For the longest time I resisted because I thought that I do not need it as I do not CC in NJ or other states. This ordeal has been an eye opener for me. In NJ, any person who is permitted by law to file a ERPO or DV can do so and it will be accepted by the judge, no matter how flimsy the case. Protect yourself and be careful out there!

They have to keep enough data for payment processing. Most likely it's not that stored records were leaked, but that malware was in place that snooped all the payment traffic going across their payment infrastructure.

I was going to say if you had some scrap 2x4 around, easy enough to make one. However, for that price it’s a good idea. You will mostly be using just the front piece, may consider this one: https://www.amazon.com/Caldwell-Adjustable-Ambidextrous-Handgun-Shooting/dp/B001ABQT9E/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=caldwell+handy+rest&qid=1576594397&sr=8-2

If the price is worth it, you should have one. Can't speak to the quality of that one in particular, but it's pretty cheap. However, when sighting in a rifle, it's kind of specific to the position you are shooting from, so a good zero from a rest may or may not be what you actually want. Although if you have issues holding a group from other positions, it may be the best you get, and for shooting 100 yards and in it's probably all rounding error anyway.

Here is the press release since the original didnt save... (my bad) Franklin Armory® V. New Jersey Minden, NV, October 24, 2019– Franklin Armory® is filing suit in the U.S. District Court for the State of New Jersey challenging the unconstitutional actions of the New Jersey State Police. The complaint challenges the agencies unlawful prohibition of the Franklin Armory® Reformation® series firearms. Jay Jacobson President said, “fundamentally, the State of New Jersey has infringed upon our Constitutional rights. We will never stand by when an agency of any jurisdiction unlawfully restricts our rights or those of our customers.” This lawsuit alleges official misconduct, negligence, recklessness and/or purposefully, intentional or callously indifferent conduct of Defendants State of New Jersey, New Jersey State Police, Patrick A. Callahan (in his capacity as Superintendent of the State of New Jersey Police), Attorney General of the State of New Jersey, Gurbir Grewal (in his official capacity as Attorney General), and the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety (“Defendants”). Specifically, the lawsuit claims that Defendants have violated Plaintiff’s constitutional rights and caused irreparable damage to Plaintiff by improperly, and without legal justification, preventing, precluding, and delaying the lawful sale of lawful firearms within the State of New Jersey.
