Thanks to Dr Pirelli’s report Morris County returned ID card and firearms today.

I’m not arguing with that, but why does it always seem to be the second amendment the dems want to curtail? Let’s mix it up a little! Curtail the third amendment--if found guilty of animal cruelty, a couple of Marines are going to come live with you

Doesn't PETA mean "People Eating Tasty Animals" ??

Chokes are rated by constriction. Cyl means cylinder, or no choke, same as the bore. IC means improved cylinder, it is only slightly tighter than the bore. Then comes Modified, which falls in the middle, and then there is Full. There are other chokes in between like IM improved-modified or extra full and Turkey which is pretty much the same as extra full.

I’m all for vigorous prosecution and stiff penalties for cruelty to animals, but not for linking that to suspension of 2A rights. There is no logical connection. Is loss of the right to free speech, a free press, the right to assemble, or practice religion ever considered as an add-on punishment? No How about we make violators quarter soldiers in their homes without their consent? Or subject them to unreasonable search and seizure, or maybe take away their right to not self-incriminate? Maybe we deprive violators of the right to a speedy trial, or a trial by jury? Or maybe declare that rights not delegated by the constitution to the federal or state government will NOT be reserved to people who violate certain statutes. Why is it always second amendment rights that are targeted?

Torkk, Wipe the funnel and powder measure hopper inside and out with a Bounce dryer sheet. Ground the powder measure. Throw a charge, weigh it, record the weight, throw that powder back into the hopper, repeat ten times. See if you're getting consistent the weights. You need to do the same motion everytime you throw a charge. Slow or fast or tap 3 times - whatever. Just make sure you throw charges the same way each time. Report back with your progress please. - -Longranger

We will now, and forever more, refer to @Zeke as ‘Betty Crockpot’. I vote he changes his forum name to ‘Betty Crockpot, the poster formerly known as Zeke’.

In NJ, if it is transferred as a "Frame" it then get classified as to which type of frame it is (Rifle or pistol) If it's a rifle, it transfers with a COE; if it's a Pistol it transfers with a HG permit. If it transfers as a pistol, it stays a pistol If the frame transfers as a rifle, it can't be made into a pistol in NJ because it will never clear the 50oz rule anyway..........

GUN BILLS STALL IN SENATE COMMITTEE At today's meeting of the NJ Senate Law and Public Safety Committee, S120 (increases penalties for leaving firearms within access of a minor) was not heard and the bill was "held." Our sources indicate it was held because anti-gun lawmakers intend to pursue more aggressive legislation on the subject instead in the future. Also, a hearing began on S746 (prohibits firearms ownership for mere "disorderly persons" offenses toward animals), but after fundamental questions were raised about the scope of the bill, the legislation was also "held" and the bill sponsor agreed to go back to the drawing board on it.

All of NJ infrastructure operates on maximum neglect. All the sewage treatment plants eject their waste into the various rivers to the ocean. When the place isn't working right, or input volume exceeds processing volume, they operate in bypass mode. So yeah.. if it smell like shit, it probably is shit.

Not according to the people of Virginia. Small County of 74,000 had 450 people show up armed with semi auto rifle and sidearm for first Militia Muster. The AWB failed in VA Senate Committee. There were at least 5 Dems that didn't want blood on their hands.

Sounds just like the PRNJ's Gun Control "scheme" (as the courts refer to it, very correctly) whereas the sworn cops can have and carry them, the politicians (if they wish) can carry them, the protectors of the rich can carry them, the rich can carry if they want, and then at the bottom of the pile, are we the subjects who cannot carry unless we can can show "justifiable need" The PRNJ Firearm Foodchain.

2C:39-1 Definitions k. "Handgun" means any pistol, revolver, or other firearm originally designed or manufactured to be fired by the use of a single hand. NJ, not AZ.

I see your point but I still find this bill suspect. I have a problem overall with losing a constitutional right over a misdemeanor. If the crime is serious enough to warrant that then it should be a felony. Losing your 2A right over one misdemeanor after another is the definition of slippery slope.

So this is OK with U as they take away your Constitutional 2A Rights...………..

Welcome aboard! Your screen name made me smile. Interesting that you didn't know about the magazine limit. I've often thought that there must be many people who are unknowingly felons in this awful state. Unless people are active in online gun forums, it is unlikely that they would have heard about it. Glad to hear you have a Glock! Sounds like you need a shotgun.

I kinda just rolled with the claims. FM Products makes high quality lowers and uppers for dope prices. thats mine from reddit. FM Product lower, complete 7.5 inch upper, with a blast diffuser to bring it to 8.25. they make 5 inch models as well with a tri lug so if you ever move out of the state you can grab a suppressor. Glock mags, last round hold open. my upper is side charging the 5 inch models are reg charging handle. Their bolt is great, I used a law tac folder (wouldn't do it again) CMC 3.5 pound single stage trigger and blitzkrieg standard buffer with orange sprinco spring

We never gave up here in VA. There has been a massive phone and email campaign along with people showing up at their delegate and senator's offices to voice concern. I got really involved down here and the sheer number of people involved was awesome. Nobody waited for an organization to do it for them. My county and most others stood up grass roots 2A groups. It was a very organic process. County and Local LEO overwhelmingly stated that they would not enforce any ban. The VASP troopers in private said they did not support it.

You would eat all your survival rations out of boredom due to lack of discipline. One needs to be disciplined to survive. No matter how hungry you may be dogfood might make you vomit. Creates a extra concern for dehydration.
