2 pointsThe DOJ has opened a "portal" to report civil rights abuses. Let's all take a few minutes to report Murphy and Grewal for violating NJ citizen’s 2A civil rights: https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/department-justice-announces-launch-civil-rights-reporting-portal https://civilrights.justice.gov/#report-a-violation "We sue or prosecute individuals and organizations who violate civil rights laws."

1 pointI misread your post to state that only 5 states accepted the non-resident permit. My bad, you clearly stated 5 states only accept the resident permit. I should have read more closely. I just increased the font size so that I can actually see all of the letters in a post.

1 pointA hunter safety course will also qualify for an Arizona amd Virginia permit. I do not recall if the same can be done for Florida(I think so). Only one initial set of fingerprints is needed for an Arizona permit, whereas Virginia requires a new set with every renewal.

1 pointNo revolver, regardless of PC or otherwise, will have a match grade trigger out of the box. That's part of the fun of owning a revolver. Plus, even if it was a "good" trigger, it is vastly different than anything you'll encounter on a semi-auto - even the vaunted PPQ. Adios, Pizza Bob

1 pointJohnny B hit it - just a cannelure to prevent the bullet from being pushed farther into the case, thus increasing pressure. Happens with rounds that are chambered multiple times. Perfectly safe to reload. Adios, Pizza Bob

1 pointI see those from time to time in my range brass. I clean and reload them like the rest with no issues.

1 pointThats a pretty hefty crimp, I would say safe to reload but keep an eye out for stress. As the casing body gets worked a few times the thinner crimps of the brass can start to let go.

1 pointIt's won't be a mistake as long as you buy a quality pistol. Do you have any gun experience? Do know the difference between action types such as Striker Fired and Hammer Fired, double action, single action, and DA/SA? Manual safety, no manual safety? Do you know about calibers and what caliber you want? I have noticed most first time buyers buy a Beretta 92FS. The most popular pistol(s) in the US is the Glock 19/17. If you just need to scratch that itch right now, I would go for a Glock 19 Gen 5. BTW, did you get a pistol purchase permit, or just your FID?

1 pointRemington ran a batch of 30-40 last year, first time in about 10 years. Target Sport has it in stock. Grafs has new Privi made brass, bought a 100, looks good but I have not loaded any of it yet as I have enough loaded ammo.

1 pointI have an open suggestion for anyone listening. Here's the setup, Trump has appointed a record number of federal judges including in our district. We remember what happened in Illinois, a CCW law made it to the court of appeals and we won. The deep state read Illinois the riot act and they refused to appeal to SCOTUS. Reason? Gun control power brokers feared a decision that would affect the whole country and effectively sacrificed Illinois. Bad for them and good for us. Now here's the ask on my part. Someone please file a new lawsuit with enough changes so that it doesn't get brushed aside for being similar to what's been reviewed already. Our only chance is that we now have a numerically superior chance of getting a conservative judge in circuit court. If so we win and it may end there. If it goes to court of appeals and we draw 2 conservatives and we win again, it will be game over for NJ justifiable need. Why? Deep state gun control would tell NJ to stand down like they did in Illinois for fear of a favorable 2A opinion that would affect HI, CA, MA, NY, MD and any others I missed.
