Escaped Central Jersey and moved to Southern Jersey where I could finally have some elbow room! Went from a 40x120 lot to a 7 acre lot, finally have ALL my toys in one place! Been working on a new pole barn which is 40x60, yes, half the size of my ENTIRE LOT at the old homestead! Can't work on the race cars yet until I have the concrete floor poured, but been working on outside lighting in the meantime. I did not build the structure, I just watched!

I drop off my wheels and new tires at a local shop, they do the dismount/mount/balancing, then I get them when they are done. No more clowns with their damn air guns! I can do most everything on my cars, the race cars are VERY simple!

The left is trying to destroy Goya foods since the CEO of Goya came out for trump and God! I am one who is guilty of walking past the Goya section in my local Acme with my brain saying, Spanish food...Not a fan. Many of the canned goods and other products are not just Spanish. I find that many items that Goya sells, are the same items that Del Monte and others make. We need to stand behind those corporations and there are not many, who have the balls to stand up to the left wing socialists! I will look closely at what Goya offers and I will purchase their products whenever possible! Please join me!

I have a first generation S&W model 59 that I inherited from my father. Are you saying it is a good pistol? I was never very fond of it and shot it very little!

if it does, it's inconsequential. The extractors, chambers, and ejectors are significantly harder than the softer steel used in casings. The issue with steel, most predominately Tula, in your AR is the pressure curve due to different powders. Western powders burn curve is longer away from the throat, wolf a little closer but Tula is damn near right after ignition. Heat and friction is the enemy, not the steel case everyone needs to get 5 people who have not voted to vote. It SHOULD NOT BE HARD IN TODAY'S CLIMATE. If you don't do this then to quote the famous Ricky Bobby, 'fk u' lol seriously though

I use this all the time. @Scorpio64 donated me a nice rotor to steal from. It’s fancy science stuff. But you’re smert, you can do this. pro tip... none of the new battery chargers will work, use a battery in between charger and the science experiment

Not a project but ive been fishing allot lately. My wife is studying for her insurance brokers licenses so ive been able to get out in my evenings off of work and the trout and landlocked salmon have been on the bite. Last week I caught 6 decent brookies in one pool without even moving my feet!

Never had a problem with steel in our's. I shoot 2-3 times a week - it's saved me PLENTY. Have only seen 1 S&W AR have a steel case stuck. Then again I've been anti-social distancing for 10 years [retired] and don't shoot around many except a chosen few. I had a friend ask where I got all my stash, I told him 2018 and before. When cheap -stack deep. PRAY trump wins!

No, like right after, before cleaning. Clean the extra soot and polymer (as in the case of Wolf .223 from 2005) used on rifle steel cases from the chamber. Failures to extract on .223 are common with the extra crap left behind when shooting steel cases (very different metallurgy than brass). Use a brass chamber brush after a steel range session. Now you're GTG

Here is an interesting tidbit. Just out of curiosity I googled "Goya competitor" to find out what company would profit the most from a Goya boycott. Any guesses? As it turns out, Goya's main competitor is Del Monte. Do you know who owns a boat load of their stock and holds positions within the company. If you guessed Paul Pelosi, Nancy's hubby, you guessed correct. Mr P owns $17 million in Del Monte stock, and StarKist (a Del Monte division) is a major league donor to Nancy's political machine. The pelosi-del monte story goes way back to when del monte hired paramilitary to clear natives out of ancestral lands in American Samoa so the company could grow some pineapples.

Looks like Shellback has good reviews - they use 500 Denier Nylon so it's tough stuff, not cheaper materials. The plates themselves are on the NIJ Certified list (Shellback 1155). I would take that lead time with a grain of salt, however. Body Armor manufacturers are completely slammed

I don’t care for trump, but GOYA has donated millions of dollars worth of food during many different times of need, including food banks throughout the US as well as to Puerto Rico when hurricane Maria devastated the country. They are the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States employing thousands of Hispanics. They stand as an icon of Latin American success in the country, and bring pride in sharing products from all over Latin American countries to tables around the US. The CEO makes one comment regarding politics and everyone wants to see the company fail? I don’t understand why people would want a company to go under that employs so many people who most likely don’t share the same views as their CEO. This cancel culture shit needs to end.

No worries bruh, I got your back. There are two 20# sacks of Goya jasmine rice on the way to a food bank tomorrow morning. In fact, I'm going to put your name on them. Courtesy of Greenday. It will be our little inside joke. Feed the poor.

    Would we expect anything less.

HA!!! I got it. I'm going to make a double donation today. First, to Goya, I will support the company by way of purchasing about $100.00 worth of beans. Second, to a food bank in the most democrat controlled area I can find, where I will drop off the Goya foods. It's not like they are going to turn away free food.

I believe in voting with my consumer dollars. I do it all the time. I'm so glad you posted this, because when I read about this CEO, I immediately thought - I'm going to make sure to buy some Goya products on my next shopping trip. Why? In my case, it's not at all about the politics of his statements. It's that I'm just so damn SICK AND TIRED of this cancel culture - this abhorrent, evil attempt to silence and destroy people for "wrong think" - that I want to fight against it any way that I can. Even though, yes, it's a huge company, I still want to do my little part to make sure this boycott doesn't even make a dent in their profits. I figure the cans I purchase will make up for a purchase withheld by some loony social justice bully.
