The NRA with all it's faults and internal issues always has been and remains the single most powerful force we have to defend our 2nd Amendment rights. We need to stand by them now more than ever! Now is NOT the time to abandon them when we need them the most! We can argue about Wayne's $500.00 shoes later! If you don't stand by the NRA right now, you might as well send a donation directly to BLM or the DNC and Support Biden for President! In the end, THE NRA IS OUR LAST BEST HOPE RIGHT NOW! For God's sake! Let's not be so stupid as to bite off our nose to sprite our face! Don't support the effort to stop the NRA! Support them now!

If you absolutely INSIST on pineapple with meat, at least make my Tacos Al Pastor... Marinated, grilled (or smoked) pork tenderloin, chipotle slaw, grilled FRESH pineapple, and pickled shallots. You’re welcome.

I just sat down and donated to NRA, SAF, ANJRPC, and CNJFO. (Already had recently donated to NJ2AS.). The total of the donations was significant enough to cause financial discomfort, and I would not want it any other way.

I've been watching and waiting for this return so long that it's painful. I'm definitely interested, but will wait until they've been out a year or so. Gotta have the bugs worked out and I refuse to pay a premium for a vehicle.

Thanks so much for the help! I let it soak overnight. Have it a few taps with a non marring hammer, and all as well! Thanks again!!! Saved me a fortune!

You really just need to match whatever it says on the generator. If it's a 30a, then get 10ga wire. If it's 50a, then get 6ga wire. The surge capacity is just built into the response of the breakers. They can tolerate inrush surges for a X amount of milliseconds without tripping. The rated amperage of the plug and wire is for 80% nominal load. If your nominal load exceeds 80% of the rating, then you need some new equipment. There are 100% continuous load breakers, but you won't see that in consumer grade equipment. A standard breaker will ultimate overheat and trip at continuous(3 hours+) 100% load. It will probably trip long before 3 hours.

Most portable generators only have a 220v 30amp output, theoretically they should be fine, and that's what breakers are for anyway. Unless of course the wrong gauge wire was paired with the wrong breaker amperage.

Just Can't Provide Light. I'm calling an electrical contractor tomorrow to make an appointment to size a nat gas standby generator. I've had enough.

Didn't see this earlier. I used to use a Deep Cycle 12v battery and a 900watt inverter to run the fans on our insert. Back then we didn't have a furnace, the insert was our primary heat source. The deep cycle ran the fans about 12 hours. That was the longest outage where we used it, it may have gone even longer, I dunno.

take grips off first or avoid soaking the wood!

OK - wasn't too sure of your level of knowledge or handiness with taking apart a revolver My bet is it's probably got a load of coagulated gummy oil mixed with dried burned/unburned powder inside there. Soaking it will likely free it up, then you can take it apart and get all that gunk out of there

Goobered-up or rusted? This is how the cylinder comes out: GET GUNSMITH SCREWDRIVERS BEFORE YOU START! Even a beat-up Python is worth big bucks....you don't want to booger-up that screw with a junky screwdriver!

My NJ Retail License to Sell Firearms is in the mail. Left Trenton on the 23rd according to the trooper. I went to Tuxedo Park, NY and got my fingerprints done this morning for ATF (paper/ink) and as soon as I have my NJ License in hand I will submit my ATF paperwork. I was advised by ATF to not submit until I actually have the paper in hand as any delay in receiving it will delay my ATF paperwork which is less than desirable. I am truly on the move now and am hoping to have it by end of August.

I don't know what background you or your coworkers have, but I do highly stress that you go for some training on basic firearms safety, handling, and definitely get some practice in! You're one of the many who have come to see the situation as it is now. You see what we have to go through as well - it's not what the media makes it out to be where you can just "order a gun over the internet" or any of that nonsense. We're constantly fighting to keep our rights here in NJ - I hope you and your co-workers help join in on the fight so that we have the right to protect ourselves and our loved ones.

Nice article. Well said. The current situation in our country has finally pushed me to obtain a firearm. Violence is on the rise and I need to protect my home and family. I have three other co workers who are also in the process. I drove one for fingerprinting yesterday and another has an appointment for fingerprinting tomorrow. All first time gun owners.

What got you interested in obtaining a FID and firearm? I actually just wrote an article regarding the delays, etc.

I have all the pistols mentioned here are a couple without mags inserted to eliminate the variables i could take other specific photos Upon request....... a few personal opinions the 365 is same grip length but undercut so allows more purchase, “feels” softer shooting to me and points & shoots fast and ridiculously accurate hitting 6” plates At 25 yards almost effortlessly 10 round mag good for jersey..... better option than the 43 43X longer grip than 365 still 10 end mag so why bother if pocket carry is your goal.....However if you plan on use out of nj...there are 15 round flush fit mags which now puts you at Glock 19 class only thinner, lighter (feeling) “slicker” Iwb..add in +5 extensions on the 2 reload mags iwb...you have the same load out as a Glock 19 with oem +1 plates and the reloads are 17 mag length.the 43x & 48 are the same frame with 48 being approximately 19 length of slide/barrel.......the 43X/48 grip width (front to back) is wider than the 365 and feels more like a bigger pistol and not like s&w bodyguard my humble opinion...if you want the best most shootable pocket pistol and be in current kingdom of nj compliance than 365 is the clear winner....if you are a “Glock guy” and want the ability to have options, are ok with moving from pocket to aiwb/iwb, have larger hands than the 43X is a great choice.... L2R 19-48-43X-43-365 Lined up with front of grip lined up same order same order 365 43 43X 19g5 43X with 15 round mag behind the 365 with 12 round mag which is essentially flush I dont have a 15 for the sig but can’t believe they are the same length as the 12 ... from memory in a store they are noticeably longer than the 12

https://www.npr.org/2020/08/06/899712823/new-york-attorney-general-moves-to-dissolve-the-nra-after-fraud-investigation The hand writing was on the wall over one year ago. Unfortunately, this legal fight will cost the NRA millions of dollars in legal fees. In lieu of this formidable battle, maybe the organization should just voluntarily dissolve and reform in a different State, I do not believe the NY AG could prevent the organization from voluntarily dissolving. The NRA needs new leadership, it is way to top heavy and has been rife with internal problems and issues for a long time.
