Sherlock "Danger" gettin' ready to raise hell at Lehigh Sporting Clays... He's a great cuddler...sleeps on my wife's lap when we're watchin' TV. When his claws aren't close enough to take care of bidness, he reaches for his Daddy's 3rd model Colt's Dragoon Cap & Ball! Yes, I've got lots more. No, not right now. Enjoy the thread! ~R

Try a drop of clear nail polish at the center of each crimp. It will prevent shot buffer from escaping. The same reason that stuff infiltrates all the nooks and crannies when it goes in the shell during the load process is the same reason it leaks out of every tiny orifice when rattling around in the gun or in your pockets. I do this with any reloads I make when I add buffering to the mix of shot, be it buckshot or turkey loads.

Female. She is trained to obey hand signals @ 100 yards. I can signal her to sit , speak (bark ) stop and Attack. I've been asked by at least 5 people to train their dog. I'm like I'm not a dog trainer. Their response is you sure look like a dog trainer. The training requires me to reward my girl with treats. Treats are a good motivation tool. I hardly use the training collar . She doesn't like Joggers or people on bikes She is definitely a close in weapon system on the leash.

@Wheeler2.0 - where are you hosting your pics? if it's on your google drive, sharing and hotlinking may not be enabled so we can't see 'em. I would create an account on something like Imgur or another site and hotlink from there.

I do all these things because I live alone. It is purely coincidence that I also bought a new gun.

Here's Marley. She's 13 weeks and we got her 6 weeks ago as a rescue. Had to go back to NJ to pick her up from the shelter after her bus ride from Missouri.

I use the treat system too during training, but my "Punisher" below, sometimes gets stubborn if he knows a treat ain't coming. I also have the ecollar, but don't want to go that route yet. My dude also doesn't like bikes or joggers, and he sometimes thinks he can take on a passing car when we are walking. Once I drop the leash, his "tough guy" act goes away, as if he thinks it only works when I'm hanging on..

@Krdshrk is probably onto it. Both those images are links to posts on Google content servers. If you don't have some relationship with Google (for some other reason) then it may not really be a public posting. And unless you have a more important reason to expose yourself to Google, I wouldn't recommend opening a Google account just to see some photos.

I went to high school with the Idaho Attorney General. Larry's a good guy. He argued endlessly in American Government class, telegraphing his future career path.

I don't know if this was posted elsewhere but I'll just leave this here: 18 STATES FILE LEGAL BRIEF SUPPORTING ANJRPC IN MAG BAN CASE! September 22, 2020. Today, 18 State Attorneys General filed a joint legal brief in ANJRPC's mag ban case, supporting our pending request that the full panel of Third Circuit judges reconsider the prior decision of a smaller three-judge panel tossing the case. See a copy of the Attorneys General brief here. The brief was filed jointly by the states of Arizona, Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia. The brief argues that New Jersey's magazine ban blatantly violates the Second Amendment and the rules established to protect it under the Heller case. With 18 states weighing in, it will be harder for the Third Circuit to simply ignore the reasoning of other jurisdictions outside the anti-gun bubble of the Northeastern U.S. Please watch for further developments in the case. https://www.anjrpc.org/page/18StatesFileBriefSupportingMagBanCase

Patience is a virtue. We were updated regularly that spikes was having difficulties fulfilling many custom orders at the time.. and this was before all these new companies popped up selling lowers. I agree, the group buy went well and we were kept informed as to when to expect them. I have to hand it to some of the people here that go above and beyond for this group. Now where are our t-shirts!?! LOL

I totally agree! At between $50 - $100 per transfer as you explained, transfers are just as profitable as stocking & selling the hardware itself. Some stores will fill every line of a 4473 (multiple serial numbered items) for one fee and others will NOT. Where this all falls off the rails is here on the forum. Members & lurkers are cheap, and ask about transfer fees daily. Some will spend a tank of gas & tolls to avoid the $50 - $100 highly profitable transfer fee brick & mortar shops WITHOUT A RANGE need to survive post 'Rona shutdown... The "Good ol' Boy" personification of the Fudd NJ gun owner, the "Regular" if you will, is starting to fall by the wayside (FINALLY!) as FFL's are seeing so many first-time gun buyers----AND LOTS OF THEM ARE WOMEN! Treating people right, offering SERVICE with the sale, brings people back. Some stores operate like the cheeseburger guy on Seinfeld, and some actually care about customer relations. The store that gets a good buck on a transfer has the ability to "be nice" in other ways, perhaps with a discount on cleaning products or some free paper targets, etc. Or the third transfer is FREE, just pay NICS... Point is, there's ways to treat people nice and not lose your shirt IF you have a good baseline to work from. To THAT end, when was the last time someone here proudly stated they paid $50 - $100 plus NICS and felt great doing it? Fearing the "Cheapsters" attacking them in droves with "You got robbed", "You're stupid" or some other asininely juvenile shit, they keep their good feelins' to themselves and await the next thread on "WHO HAS THE CHEAPEST TRANSFER FEE?"...

You could also do a 9mm other firearm.

Having shot the Ruger PC Carbine and PC Charger - it's a great gun. The KVP Comp is fine - just make sure you get the 9mm version. The 1/2x28 threading is correct on the Ruger PCC. Honestly it's not really needed though - the PCC does not recoil that much.

The amount of grossness that came off of those grips when I took them off to clean them, and the amount of grossness that is still in them....yeah...that's a negative LOL! I really do like the walnut grips I bought.

Incorrect. PA is a POC (Point of Contact) state just like NJ. NICS (called PICS in PA) is handled by the PASP, not directly with the federal (FBI) system. That is not to say that they are as backed up as the NJ system, but you may not get the instantaneous check afforded by the direct federal system. Check with the dealer before you part with your cash or you may be making a second long trip to PA. Adios, Pizza Bob

It's legal to purchase a *LONG GUN* (not handguns) out of state. The transfer will have to be *FROM AN FFL* (not a private seller) and will have to adhere to legal requirements of both the state the transfer is taking place in (PA) and the transferee's home state (NJ). Just because it's legal doesn't mean each and every FFL at the PA show is obligated to do a NJ transfer. Some may not want to deal with the hassle. You'll have to ask. Take your NJ FID card and several NJ COE forms (https://www.njsp.org/firearms/pdf/sp-634_20180914.pdf) with you in case you do find the long gun you want from an FFL who is willing to do a transfer to a NJ resident. Also take a case so you can transport it back home legally (or lock it in the trunk). There is still a NICS check - you'll go through the NATIONAL instant check, which really is near instant, as opposed to the NJ NICS check which is routed through the NJSP office which usually only has a couple of people handling checks for the entire state of NJ.

WTS: Glock 19 9 mm, Gen 4, compact, two Glock 10rd mags, mag loader, grip kit, cable lock, factory case, and approx 90 rds 9mm 124gn Luger FMJ. $400. S/N BFAD094. PLEASE - this is priced very fairly so no lowballs, no cherry picking. Ammo is included in the sale but not factored into my price. Buyer pays all NICS and transfer fees. Sales at place of transfer only. Ocean County area preferred. The first to post "I'll take it" wins the sale.

My transfer business has tripled since several dealers around me have stopped transfers altogether. I can only assume that they were overwhelmed by the volume, fed up with newbees, or afraid of the covid. Maybe all of the above. So, I have hired one full time employee and two part timers to take care of the extra work.

what the 2A organizations should do is rent an out of state facility just over the river or coordinate with someone over there so we can ship our ammo to . you order your ammo than drive to pick it up. Maybe their is an entrepreneur over there willing to "rent" out his address for a small fee. call it the Freedom Ammo Co-op

FIFY As far as “big money” you could thank Gov Whitman the Republican for the pension fiasco. After torpedoing the NJ state pension plan she went on to become the head of the EPA under Bush 2 and that's didn't go well for her either. Now she’s trying to be relevant again by backing Biden. if you read the article it also said “There would also be no cuts to school funding, sources said”. So how’s that going to work? is it going to be business as usual and are classrooms going to be at capacity and are the school buses going to run their regular schedules? I think not, even college students are asking for a reduction in their college tuition because they are limited to remote learning. Keep an eye on the local govs too because they likely have plans in the works for property taxes increases. BTW 87 days and counting waiting for my pistol permit process..
