2 pointsHoly crap. You're going to be the next one unleashing a plague upon us eating all this bush meat. If you cook a bat, make sure it's well done.

2 pointsOne of the theories on why they are so busy looking for and burying acorns is it's a sign of a harsh winter coming. We'll see...

2 pointsI declared war on the ones around my house. I got exactly 4 tomatoes this year! Trapped 10 in 12 days. Took them all to a park. Told them the next time they might not be so lucky cause I know this guy from Texas...

1 pointI know this last spring a bunch of friends of mine were having issues with an over abundance of squirrels tearing shit up on their property. I introduced them to air rifles Problem solved. But now. These vermin are like antifa. Im driving down 295. Theyre crossing the highways. F ing with us. Side roads same thing. Running across in a scurry. They’re like on some sorta antifa suicide mission. Kamikazi squirrel type mission. Have y’all noticed it ?

1 pointI use the Real Avid Master Armorer's tool kit. its pricey at $250 but drops down to $199 occassionally. Trust me after you build one, it won't be the last and it will be good investment in the long run. My first build was with a regular hammer and cheap punch pin set from Harbor Freight.

1 pointThere are one or two operations best done with both the parts and your hands inside a clear plastic bag. Easy enough.

1 pointAero restocks daily even their blems. I just hate that they take up to two weeks to ship right now. Also I was perusing Reloaderz website and they said they no longer accept Aero transfers because they sell them.

1 pointI have two suggestion, coming from someone who's ridden their Harley from here to Alaska, Key West, and Nova Scotia. Get Ride On. https://www.ride-on.com/ Do your own research. But the stuff works on punchers, nails etc. That said I had a rim leak. This wont work on that. But I found FOBO. https://my-fobo.com/product-family/FOBO_Bike_2 I have these paired with my phone, Samsung Gear S3 smart watch, Garmin Zumo. I can now tell if my tires are low by simply walking up to my garage. No need to take my side bag off to check tire pressure. I'm getting too old for that. I've double checked the pressure reading with multiple gauges and it's within a Lb. or two of the FOBO reading. I highly recommend these for any long distance rider.

1 pointThey are right about the receivers, receivers and handguns can only be picked up at an FFL in the state you reside. I think they are wrong about the threaded barrel on the PC and pinning of magazines.

1 pointIt’s a little tougher than chicken, but it’s damn good. Dark meat. Has a lot of flavor. I like rabbit better, but squirrels are good eats too.

1 pointI've never seen as many dead squirrels on the road as for the last few months, and I have never had as many run in front of my car. Almost got three yesterday.
-
1 pointHey, they taste just as good when you run over them. It tenderizes them before you cook them.

1 pointThey might be tossing the guns under the bed, and locking up all the $1 a round plinking ammo they've been buying. Bigger investment to protect.

1 pointHello everyone! Another post here for those that did not read my three prior emails. NJGF Engraved lowers are here from PSA and available at very reasonable prices! We have partnered with Palmetto State Armory and were able to get an allocation of their Stealth AR-15 Lower Receivers engraved with an NJGF logo on the other side. Three NJ FFLs have agreed to carry them for NJGF members and have ordered some extra receivers for stock. They are: @TechOpsInternational in Phillipsburg, NJ, a forum vendor and the Troy "Other Firearm" exclusive distributor, @tj462nj WeShoot in Lakewood, NJ, formerly Garden State Shooting Center, and a long time supporter of the forum, and @swatfirearms in Hammonton, NJ, a good friend and a supporter of the community. While prices were guaranteed for initial responders, the FFLs do have some lowers available at very reasonable prices. Please reach out to them for more information and make sure to tell them you are a forum member who wants a lower, but did not reserve one. For those that responded earlier, the dealers have your information so please make arrangements to pick them up, they will not hold them for you long. Lowers are getting quite scarce these days so here is your opportunity to get one or two at a good price.

1 pointLet me clear this up a tad. If it is a Barrel shorter than 16'' The muzzle devise MUST be welded as per federal law. Pinning it, and welding over the pin is acceptable. If it's a 16" barrel it must be pinned, but many FFL's Weld the pin so it doesn't fall out. Some dealers just press the pin in, some Pin and stake the pin and some pin & weld - all are acceptable but there have been a few examples of pressed pins working themselves out over time so we pin/weld. Some dealers may even tac weld the device on but that never really looks good (jmo) So it's just a matter of varying terminology as to Pin / Weld......... JT

0 pointsToms River Police Department It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of newly retired K-9 Officer Gunnar. K-9 Gunnar #9020 unexpectedly but, peacefully passed away at home today. K-9 Gunnar was given an honorable send-off by ambulance from his residence to the veterinarian. During his final patrol, he was surrounded by family and escorted by members of our K-9 unit. Upon arrival at the veterinarian, K-9 Gunnar was embraced by numerous K-9 handlers and their partners from surrounding jurisdictions to show their support for K-9 Gunnar, his handler Officer Buhowski and his family, as well as our department. K-9 Gunnar started his career on January 28th, 2013 in the Toms River Canine Academy, class number 7 where he became a certified patrol canine. On September 9th, 2013 he attended the Toms River Canine Academy where he became a certified narcotics canine. While in training, K-9 Gunnar was one of the top dogs of the class and easily excelled at any task he was asked to do. K-9 Gunnar will be remembered for his numerous narcotics finds and his assistance in keeping officers safe while on the road. K-9 Gunnar retired in January of 2020. K-9 Handlers form inseparable bonds with their partners and this unexpected passing is difficult for Officer Buhowski and his family. Our hearts are with all of them.
