Not holding my breath on this happening. A better question is- How soon until the rest of the US is feeling NJ’s pain? If the Republicans lose in GA, one of the first things Dems are going to do is pass all the anti-gun crap Bloomberg paid for. It’s easier for them to go after us than fix all the problems that take real thought and effort. We’ve seen that here in NJ for decades. Literally fiddling while Rome burns. NJ will never be able to dig itself out of it’s fiscal hole and the Federal government is just as bad. All this stuff is just distraction from the fact that they are all unable to fix any real issues. JMHO -Jim

Does anybody really believe they care about our interests? All they care about us filling their pockets.

Didnt see anything during PA Buck regular firearms week. Plus only had a day and a half to hunt. Luckily got a doe tag. Unlike NJ doe tags are limited by county and are frst come, first served. Once they are sold out that's it. Only had one day to fill doe tag. Wasn't looking promising. Sat from 5:30 - 11:30 without seeing a thing. Took a lunch break to eat and the sat again starting around 1pm. Again nothing was moving at all. Was about to give up hope and thought it would be another wash. Then about 15 minutes before it would be too dark to shoot any more something moved VERY close on my left. A doe came from behind and on my left. She couldn't have been 25 feet or so away. I remained perfectly still as she had turned and was looking directly at me in my ground blind. Finally she moved a bit further away and turned presenting me with a nice shot I fired, she jumped and ran. Through the scope I saw the impact of the bullet and knew it was a solid hit. I mean it couldn't have been much more than 50 feet! She ran about 50 - 75 yards and that was it. Great end to a very long day!

Hello, Im Numan from Clifton in Passaic County I joined to gain knowledge on safe use of Firearms and Specifically Firearms laws in NJ as I am a new owner of a Springfield Armory 1911 in .45ACP and a Springfield Armory Saint Victor 5.56 Rifle. I love to hit the range once a week-I go to Reloaderz NJ in Wayne or Long Shot Pistol&Rifle in Secaucus. Recently, haven't really been to the range cuz of the extremely high Ammo prices!! Shhhheeeesh!!

That was exactly my thinking when I purchased the .380 EZ. Now that I've spent time with it I'd rather have the thumb safety version. The trigger is too light and the grip safety very easy to engage. Not worth the risk with the internal hammer just for some hypothetical quick draw situation IMO. Also, the thumb safety version can be easy converted to a non-thumb safety but not vice versa. S&W offers inserts to close the gaps in the frame after removing the safety lever.

Take note . . . The two that were listed for sale appear to have sold for $12,000 and $12,500 . . .

The .380 EZ is noticeably easier to operate and control than the 9mm EZ, even more so for a female with an injured finger. The 9mm EZ is a nice weapon but has the same 8 round capacity as the .380, thus you get more weight, recoil and a harder to operate slide for the debatable increased stopping power of 9mm. If it was for you I'd say get the 9mm, for her, the .380 EZ. Much better for your GF to comfortably put 8 rounds of a slightly less powerful cartridge on target then miss with a snappy 9mm. As for the thumb safety: YES. The EZ Shields are internal hammer fired guns with short, very light triggers. IMO the Performance Center models are gimmicky and a waste of money. The stock trigger is already very good, (although on the light side as mentioned). And porting an already soft shooting .380 makes no sense and while putting muzzle flash in the line of sight.

Remember back kids, we had a shot at National Reciprocity during Trump's first two years with a Repub congress. It was passed in the House, Dec. 2017, but the Repub controlled Senate refused to even bring it up for a vote. If your Repub politicians won't pass it, the chance of a Dem controlled NJ legislature passing it is pretty slim

If they pack the court Definitely No if they don't pack the court, No. if you live in Jersey and want to carry, become a cop, a criminal or move.

Here's the thing, in my view . . . You're not likely to get busted at the range with a non-welded brake or with a 17 round mag in your Glock or with hollow points in your trunk at McDonald's. But, if you are using the weapon for home defense, an otherwise clean self-defense incident can become all f'd up if your ammo and weapon aren't buttoned up and legal. You might want to make your choices with that in mind.

I'm moving away from red dots. I picked up a used primary arms 3x fixed power prism scope. I like it so much now I have 3 they are gen 2 type. My issue is its hard to see a red dot with no magnification @ 200yds They are about the size of a aim point pro. This is the reticle for 223/5.56

I would not be so quick to state that as fact, since the ATF has stated it is not a destructive device; "ATF Publication 5300.11 Revised December 2007 SECTION III: Weapons Removed From The NFA As Collector's Items And Classified As Curios Or Relics Under The GCA The Bureau has determined that by reason of the date of their manufacture, value, design and other characteristics, the following firearms are primarily collector's items and are not likely to be used as weapons and, therefore, are excluded from the provisions of the National Firearms Act. Further, the Bureau has determined that such firearms are also Curios or Relics as defined in 27 CFR 478.11. Thus, licensed collectors may acquire, hold, or dispose to them as Curios or Relics subject to the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR Part 478. They are still "firearms" as defined in 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 ... German, model 1918, (WWI) anti-tank rifle (PzAgew 1918), cal. 13.25mm." This is on page 35 and page 36 of this document: https://www.atf.gov/resource-center/docs/p-5300-11-firearms-curios-or-relics-listpdf/download?destination=file/2026/download @Dave Archibald the ammunition isn't readily available but if you have a lathe you can make the bullets from stock and the cases from .50BMG. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/washington-secrets/gun-control-first-for-biden-executive-orders It seems that the "President Elect" Biden plans to introduce executive orders to ban AR 15s as soon as he picks up office. Does anyone know how something like this would work? 1. Will they force all AR owners to register their firearms like NFA? 2. Will existing owners have to pay a one time tax and be grandfathered 3. Put a $600-$1000 tax on any new AR manufactured? 4. Tax and place background checks for any ammo making the process buying ammo expensive and time consuming? Lets hope that this never happens and Trump manages to proove the fraud Thoughts?
