Fired in a gun chambered for something else. It looks like the chamber was too big for the body of the cartridge, hence the split, the nose of the cartridge extended into the barrel, resulting in that weird fire-forming of the front of the case. At least that's my guess.

I always used the lee disc system with my Lee Classic Turret press for pistol loads and it was very consistent. Maybe not match grade but good enough for range ammo. If you use ball powders, they will meter just fine.

Ok I was shooting a 7.62x39 ar And I accidentally grabbed a mag loaded with 223. I was using a bipod so I used 10 round mags .
