Energy will always be a great play. NG, oil, wind, solar.... They all have drawbacks, but the fact is, we NEED energy to run the world.

Well, I got lucky this weekend. I bought 200 rounds of .357 158gr FMJ at $27.50 a box (50 rounds). The counter guy wasn't going to do it but I was taking a class there so supervisor allowed the sale. I'm glad I wasn't too greedy.

Dear Vice President Biden, Although I refused to listen to it, I understand that during your presidential acceptance speech, you were calling for the unity of Trump supporters. I remember four years ago my President Trump also called for unity. I remember how Congressional members of your Democratic Party responded by boycotting his inauguration. I remember how you and your Democratic party cheated and used the greatest law enforcement institution of this country to spy on my President Trumps campaign. I remember how you and your Democratic Party created a fake Russian dossier to try and impeach my President Trump. I remember how your speaker of the house ripped up my President Trumps beautiful State of the Union speech on National TV. I remember how you and your Democratic Party tried to impeach my President Trump over a Ukraine phone call. You accused my President Trump of pay to play. Come to find out Joe, it was really you and your son Hunter. I remember how you and your Democratic Party blamed my President Trump over a pandemic that he had nothing to do with. I remember how you and your Democratic Party encouraged rioting and looting of my great United States of America. I remember how you and your Democratic Party used the media to spread lie after lie about my President Trump. I remember how you and your Democratic Party stole the election from my President Trump. This Trump supporter remembers all that Joe and will NOT be unifying with your Democratic Party. This Trump supporter will be giving you the same respect you gave my President Trump. Your abject criminal dishonesty is treasonous. Ted Nugent

I don't own and won't own Bitcoin or any other crypto. Anyone here that does should read this article: The Bit Short (Think 'The Big Short') I am not very literate in this area, but I'd be interested to hear those of you who know a lot more about it than I do comment on it. The gist is that the entire crypto market is being propped up to a large extent by an outfit called Tether Ltd. And crypto purchases are being made with 'Tethers' (as opposed to money), and then on certain dubious exchanges leveraged up to 100x their value. Resulting of course in an explosion of price. There's a ton a charts and analysis here to review. The anonymous author said he cashed out completely on January 9, up 600% on his trades, and will not be reentering the market. He was very nervous until the wire transfer was confirmed at his bank.

I am firmly in the revolver for HD camp. No safety to worry about, you pull the trigger and it goes bang. Load it up with .38 Critical Defense and you are good to go.

If I may interject...although everyone is different with what they're comfortable with, I believe the order in which someone should learn how firearms work and how to physically operate are... 1. Revolvers with hammers 2. Hammerless/striker fired handguns 3. Pump action shotguns 4. Bolt/lever action rifles 5. AR platform 6. Mini gun Safety and no safety awareness as well for all of the above.

I don't need to debate, Army training, LEO training, and history validates the 'complexity' of teaching the AR platform and it's nuances. Hell, do you know the reason PD firearms don't have safeties? A study done in the 80s, prior to the explosive use of Glock/striker fired handguns, cited 2 factors in police deaths in firefights that were not directly related to training; 1.removing of safety prior to engaging, 2, capacity. Half the people on this board couldn't operate the safety under duress proficiently much less a newbie Revolver respectfully

No offense, but for SD better make that first shot count with a pump shotgun. A determined assailant with a semi-auto handgun or AR could get off multiple rounds before you even got the second shell chambered. Multiple armed assailants, good luck. Kyle Rittenhouse would probably be dead or talking funny right now had he been armed with a pump shotgun.

If you don't have a lot of time to invest, look for no-load mutual funds or ETFs with high ratings and the lowest annual fees in the sectors in which you want to invest. Or get an index fund covering the whole of the NASDAQ, Dow, or S&P 500. Those will have the lowest fees of all. Yes, the potential upside for individual stocks can be a lot higher, but the potential downside can be a lot lower. If you have time to do the research, can be smart about when to get in and when to get out, and pay attention to what is happening with your investments, by all means build a portfolio of individual stocks. If you don't have the time or inclination, manage the risk with mutual funds or ETFs.

Rule of thumb is 6 weeks before you plan to transplant, you can start earlier if you can keep them lit as they grow larger. I have been planting on mothers day weekend for years. Best tomato I have had is a Rutgers Jersey Beefsteak, found them at Home depot one year and have been saving the seeds since. If you see them pick up a plant or two and save the seeds, juicy, dark center, solid meat, very little cavity, and man do they taste good. The best addition I found for my soils is the Black Kow manure from Home Depot, everything loves it, quadrupled me yield.

I feel like it's not as many stands as Clinton, but it's also not really as busy. I usually go on weekdays (I have my hunting license, and l just renewed it) so I'm not sure how busy a weekend morning is normally (probably not as busy during the winter months) I've seen largish groups shooting of like 6-8 on a single thrower at a single stand. So I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem if it's not packed. I can swing past this weekend to do some recon if there's interest.

Hoping that the OP is not suffering from information overload with all of these great suggestions, I'd like to recommend a different pistol caliber carbine. I have a Rossi R92 .357 magnum. It holds nine rounds in the tube and one in the chamber. I can hit targets out to 200 meters with it. Sometimes, I get some snide remarks about my choice of rifle from time to time while at the range, but when they see I'm hitting the target, they simply walk away.

This reminds me of a joke I heard a long time ago. In a parched and dusty western town, a reclusive gold prospector from the mountain rode in. The town mayor and a couple buddies who were sitting outside the barber shop watched the prospector ride up to the general store. The prospector dismounted and hitched his horse. After dusting off the caked on dirt, he then walked around to the rear, lifted the horse's tail and kissed it squarely on it's asshole. The shocked mayor got up and approached the prospector. You!, You there, just what was that! The prospector replied huh? The increasingly incensed mayor said We got laws ag'in immoral behavior like that. Why'd you kiss that horse on the bum?" The prospector replied, Oh, that. I got me a might powerful case of chapped lips. The now confused mayor asks " Is that some sorta Indian cure". No sir, it ain't no cure, but it sure as shit keeps me from lick'n my lips.

"de facto" doesn't come to mind? On the other hand, owning a gun is a right still.. So if you cant afford it, will the government be providing this insurance?

Doesn’t this get submitted every year? While it might get more traction this year, in the past it hasn’t even made it out of the rubber-stamp committees. Of course it’s unconstitutional. But it will take 10 years and millions of dollars to prove it. Ding Ding ding.

Biden prints the money? Bro did you go to Trump University? If the President was allowed to print money the current hooker wig wearing Pres would have made things even worse. We are still feeling the results of Obama 8 years. Your posting was humorous.

OK, so let's try this: You must have gun insurance, but it's illegal in NJ, and there's no companies approved to offer it. Voila! You can't have a gun!
