2 pointsIt doesnt list specific bullets so you have to start at the low end and work up to get what you need. My old Sierra manual does not list smk or otm either so you have to go by weight only to start

2 pointsPut it out near the sidewalk, it will keep people from dropping cigarette butts on your lawn. Ok, it will keep them from dropping them a second time.

2 points@plumbshotsam I understand your curiosity about what kind of powder it is and agree with @JohnnyB'assessment. However.... DON'T REUSE IT. Identifying powder by appearance alone is risky business. Sprinkle it on the grass. The high nitrogen content makes it great fertilizer.

1 pointKraken trades a dozen more than Coinbase and there's a couple on Coinbase that aren't on Kraken. I was specifically looking at Dogecoins because they're super cheap and I can just stuff them and forget about it. I attempted to trade in BTC about 5 years ago and my bank cancelled the transactions. I would have been in BTC at around 1k each. Not a big position, like .2btc but that $200 would have been about 10k now! At .04 per Doge, 1000 coins can bake for as long as they need. Kraken is also cheaper to trade. It'd be cheaper to transfer some BTC to Kraken, trade it, transfer it back.

1 pointThese satanists in power DO NOT CARE about gun deaths AND they do not care about criminals. They create false flag mass shootings for the SOLE PURPOSE of using it as an excuse to abolish the 2nd Amendment. They only want CONTROL over the law abiding masses. How many mass shootings occurred during Trumps administration? How many during Obiden's. I guarantee the mass shootings will pickup again as long as this satanist puppet is in power.

1 pointAll the dies are .223 (at least...I’ve never seen 5.56 dies commercially). Once you size and trim a 5.56 case it’s now .223. People might say the internal volume is different but I’ve never seen evidence that it was anything other than manufacturer-to-manufacturer variance. I was just throwing that extra info on my barrel in case anyone cared in the future. The 77 TMKs can be loaded to mag length, they use a different ogive than Hornady. However I could never get the 77s to shoot worth a crap in my gun.

1 pointFL for semi auto all the time and bolt action for first time resizing unknown brass. Then neck only for bolt action after brass has been fire formed. That's how I understand it. I'm basically working up a load for my SPR first, using PPU 75 gr .223 OTM as the baseline, as that's what I soot almost exclusively and I get about .33moa from it. After I get that established, I'm going to mess with 60gr Vmax and 69gr Hornady otm for M4gery, and 69gr TMK, 77gr TMK for SPR.

1 pointI have the CMMG conversion kit and for the most part it has worked really well as long as it's properly lubed. I think I ran a few hundo down it the first day I used it without a single failure (I don't remember what brand of ammo). The follower on the mags tends to get dirty and sticky but cleans up ok and hasn't really been a problem. I agree with all the comments about accuracy. If you have 22 laying around and don't wanna send dollar bills downrange it's a great way to go.

1 pointjust getting into metallic reloading so I have no idea how important bullet specific load data is. There will be a lot of noob questions forthcoming. I did order a chrono, apparently it's very important for working up loads.

1 pointI picked up the EZ version, thumb safety and all, for my girlfriend. She has a couple of messed up fingers that make it difficult to rack the slide on other guns. We've only had it to the range once but both liked it a lot.

1 pointWe picked her up a subcompact 9mm to go along with her Glock 19. She loves it and can't wait to shoot it. I can't wait either.

1 pointOnly thing we noticed is that both the front and rear sights were not centered. The rears were offset to the right and the fronts were offset to the left. I've read that it's been a common issue. We contacted the FFL where we bought it and he is going to have his Gunsmith take care of it free of charge.

1 point.22 Long rifle bullets are .224 heads like the 5.56 and .223. Accuracy varies due to the twist rate of the barrel used and taking into consideration the lower velocity of the .22LR, you should be pretty accurate out to 100 yards or so. You are plinking at this point so who really cares about ultra accuracy? Have fun and save $$$.

1 pointIt’s been ‘10 more years’ since the early 1970s....Florida was supposed to be underwater by now.

1 pointBut remember, there's only 10 years left until climate change dooms us all.

1 point"It did not cycle well" Could be just needs to be broken in. What brand 22lr are you using? While my DPMS dedicated 22lr upper eats almost anything, it runs best on CCI mini mags. Mini mags are the gold standard. I gave away a box of Remington .22lrs they cycled so badly. So try different brands to find what cycles best in your gun. The mag can also be an issue. My buddies CMMG conversion would stove pipe with one of his mags. I swapped mags with him and it went away. Never had a problem with his mag in my rifle. Oh...and lube it up some.
