Aliengear Cloak Tuck 3.5 is good for 4-5 o’clock concealment. I carry my P365 and Shield 2.0 with one and it works very well. I’m not a fan of modular holsters, so everything I have is made for a particular gun. For appendix, I don’t know, I’m not a huge fan of having a loaded gun pointed in that direction. With that said, I might try a T-Rex Sidecar at some point. For OWB, I’d recommend Safariland. it really comes down to what you’re doing with it, as others have said.

I received the following picture and text in an email this week. I thought it made some interesting points. However I also removed the trailing political commentary. My interest is in the rifle. A hundred and fourteen years ago, in 1907...our great grandparents were first able to buy the rifle pictured. The semi-auto Winchester Model 1907. This is a gun they could buy from a Sears catalogue and have delivered via US Post. It was/ is a semi-automatic, high powered centerfire rifle, with detachable, high capacity magazine. About 400,000 semi-automatic rifles were produced before WW2. Civilians had hundreds of thousands of these for 40 years, while US soldiers were still being issued old fashioned bolt action rifles. The 1907 fired just as fast as an AR15 or AK47 and the bullet (.351 Winchester) was actually larger than those fired by the more modern looking weapons. The ONLY functional difference between the 1907 and a controversial and much feared AR15 is the modern black plastic stock. The semi-auto so-called "assault rifle" is 114 years old. It isn't new in any way. The semi auto rifle was not a weapon of war. The government MADE IT a weapon of war 40 years after civilians had them. The semi-auto can be safely owned by civilians. The proof is that literally 3 generations of adults owned and used them responsibly and no one ever even noticed.

You may prefer a comp/brake, but your reasoning is wrong. • Flash hiders, in and of themselves, are legal in NJ. You can put a flash hider on a bolt gun, on a Mini-14, or a Fight Light SCR. They count as an “evil feature” - they are not outright illegal. • If braces become illegal, remove the brace and run a bare receiver extension • If you want to put a stock on it, you will have to rebarrel anyway as 11.5 = NFA That being said, I recommend a Surefire WarComp.

There’s no further input at this point, but the court will be doing stuff in chambers. The ruling will likely come in July.

I read that. I don't necessarily agree with their take wholly, but they did bring up something interesting about Breyer that I didn't notice when listening. I took his remarks to be more of "how would you draw up guidelines that would prevent blood in the streets!?!?! YOU CANT!" Mostly because he's an asshole who believes the government can do whatever they want. But perhaps it was like Sotomayor... he was looking to steer the inevitable away from what was being discussed to and argued behind closed doors towards something more moderate. I think they might both have been trying to get the plaintiff to agree that some minimal measure would be sufficient. That would suggest either strict scrutiny or a fairly "dangerous" legal test is being proposed as the conclusion.

While you are blocking mags, I am unblocking them. Just for reference, this is how my Pmags were done. Baseplates were epoxied on, and pinned. Also unpinning AR stocks.

How so? The legislature would have to vote permitless carry in... you do not automatically get concarry...at least I do not think it works that way. VT, has no law precluding carry, hence concarry...NJ is markedly different.. no?
  11. 1 point
Unless the court gives them a time frame to comply, we have constitutional carry until they pass a new law. If they give them a grace period we have the old law until the deadline and presumably a new one then.

You will NEVER, get carry in NJ... EVER...no.matter the outcome of this case, which I think will be positive affirmation of the right to self defense is beyond the home as well. We couldn't kick Murphy out....u think you'll get carry? Yes I am pessimistic It is only this unrestricted in certain states....move

I think it went well today for us. The case isn't about where we can carry its more about a shall issue. What NY is requiring is a need statue. Just like NJ.

Well that was interesting. The usual NY/NJ argument of "if any government did it, we can do it now regardless of how wrong it may be" defense. And wanting to remand it so they can retry it or find new data or whatever, just remand it please. I think the plaintiff made some really good arguments regarding constitutionality and the nature of a constitutional right. I think he got across the point that there is no other enumerated, incorporated amendment that simply does not exist for any citizen without getting a permission slip first.

Clement's closing argument was spot on. He spelled the issue out loud and clear. I believe the vote will be in our favor - barely

I have seen where they ask if you have pets but never guns! It's none of their business what you own! Don't ask don't tell.

Let's put this MYTH to rest, FOREVER & RIGHT NOW! You may or may not be aware, so for those that AREN'T here goes: I transport weapons registered to a man that's been DEAD since 1982! Upon my father's passing, my mother laid his entire modest collection out on display on the dinning room table for her three offspring to divvy-up. NO PAPERWORK! Cause that's how it was done back then! Am I supposed to go dig them both up (Mom died in '95) and ask them where's the P2P's? I've been "behind the trigger" for nearly half a century. The totality of what I've done and what I know could make a good book. And OPEN LOTS OF EYES to the self-inflicted harassments we continually endure from those that THINK they "know" things...the big one being applying FOPA interstate transport regulations to intrA-state (within NJ) transportation. The fact is the current law doesn't even say that your Yellow Card has to be IN YOUR POSSESSION, it merely states you have to be granted one to be in compliance of the exception / exemption you're transporting under.... ~R
