I am in Eastern Monmouth and used an engineering firm out of Point Pleasant - Robert Burdick, PE, for both the site plan and survey. They have a professional surveyor on staff. Did a good job as far as I was concerned.

Your 2nd amendment rights are guaranteed by the US Constitution. Different states put different requirements on your ability to get guns and carry guns. There is no need for a 2nd amendment in a state's constitution. For example, you can get a handgun in NYC, but the amount of paperwork and the hoops you have to jump through make it PITA and deter a lot of people. It's even evident in different towns in NJ. I just got my last 2 P2P's in 10 days. My cousin in Wall has to wait 4-6 weeks.

I really like the 930 Tactical. The magazine capacity can be upgraded and the recoil isn't that bad at all. It is light and ergonomic and is quite reliable with home defense rounds. With lighter rounds it isn't so reliable, though. I like the tang safety that is similar to the 500/590. In my opinion, however, I would prefer a 500/590 Pump for home defense because it is less complex, cheaper, has tons of barrels and aftermarket parts.... I like the Mariner model, and would prefer a pump over a semi-auto. If recoil is an issue, I would still prefer a 20 gauge pump over a semi-auto. Can't go wrong with a pump Mossberg 500, Older Remington 870 Wingmaster, or if you are lucky, an ithaca Model 37 Pump. A 930 Tactial is pretty cool, though, and if you already have a pump go for it, you can't go wrong... and then tell us what you think.

The wood, after stain and linseed oil. I’ll put a couple of more coats of oil on it before re-assembly.

It's not a nice idea, it's the constitution that rules our nation. The bill of rights defines fundamental civil rights to all citizens, which supersedes and invalidates state law. The Court decides the interpretation and state abides by the interpretation.

When o when did Sweeney become a champion of 2a rights? Was I asleep when this happened? What insane gun control legislation did Sweeney prevent! Nothing! NOT A GODAMN THING! They wanted a magazine ban on 15 rounds and they got it! They wanted to ban so-called ghost guns and they got it! They wanted all that red-flaw law/TERPO crap passed and that got that too! At what point did Steve Sweeney become this great obstacle to Murphy's continued campaign against NJ's gun owners? We removed one of the most powerful Democrat elites in NJ, there is nothing "moronic" about that.

I mean it's not an opinion. Here s a pic of the new gun next to a BR9 next to a WW2 FN hi-power. That's just what a hi-power looks like. I mean it was designed by JMB after he made the 1911. It's a kind of cousin, but it's not a mash up of a hi-power and 1911.

Sweeney getting ousted puts the other Democrats on notice - you can be replaced.

Have things been getting better for gun owners in NJ? The answer is no. Do we have any more risk than before? Maybe, but Sweeny wasn't our friend. He would sell every one of us down the river for something he wanted.

Only a moron would call fellow gun owners morons. I dont care who it was that beat sweeney...as long as it wasnt a democrat.

How about it is a 2nd Amendment violation the right to keep or own and bear or carry shall not be infringed. That is how the decision should be written with a clarification that the militia part was a statement and has nothing to do with the right. From the questions being asked by the 6 GOP appointed Justices we may get something that broad and game changing.

Well, when your time is up, it's up. I didn't put two and two together until today. One of the four astronauts that went up on the William Shatner flight was killed yesterday in a plane crash. Very sad. Made me think back to Christa McAuliffe. Hampton plane crash victims ID'd as Thomas Fischer, Glen de Vries (njherald.com)

Morons that voted for someone with zero experience to replace the one person that was able to stop Murphy, and has consistently stopped Murphy. Only hope now is SCOTUS decision on NY Case is so broad and monumental that it basically makes all laws that restrict the ownership of firearms unconstitutional as the Constitution states shall not be infringed,
