You seem to be making arguments for the FATF that even they aren't making... They say weapons designed to be fired with one hand, that's not what an other is... If they want the rule to apply to others it should not just be more clear, It shouldn't use language that explicitly excludes them.

haha, right! I have so much stuff lying around that I've gotten over the years. I'm just getting rid of things I know I will not use. The best deal I had posted, imho, was the fn socom barrel that sold. I'd of thought that would have sold quickly. I do always try to sell below mkt to give my fellow NJ peeps a shot but if it sits, I move it to main boards and it goes pretty quickly. Half this stuff I don't even remember getting. I haven't even dug into a few bins I have. lol

Damn might as well change the summary to "My loss your gain!" LOL. This way you don't have to keep on updating the subject field. So much goodies....

This is the most important point here. Remington doesn't exist. Remington didn't admit any fault OR offer a settlement. The insurance companies settled because they aren't there to fight for the 2nd Amendment. They are there to turn a profit. The cost of settling outweighed the cost of litigation. It's that simple. What this means for other gun related businesses is another story entirely.

For that pricE on that gun I’d drive many hours.

As I always say, it's the intent, not the instrument.

The Olympics, or rather the IOC, bares a lot of the blame as well. If even half the reports are true regarding the corruption and level of bribery required to be considered to host the games then the whole organization needs to be dismantled.

I agree with many of the comments here... it's overly politicized... overly commercialized... badly covered by the network, etc. There's also been yet another Olympic drug scandal (the young Russian figure skater) and blatant displays of Chinese censorship - all a real downer. But what's saddest of all (for me) is that our collective declining interest impacts ALL of the athletes, most of whom don't cheat... but rather, they sweat, sacrifice, and suffer to be the very best that they can... the best in the WORLD! It's an almost unfathomable level of dedication required to reach the pinnacle that is the Olympics. And it's a shame that all of the incredible sacrifice on the part of so many athletes is getting "lost in the sauce". I have enjoyed watching the Olympics my entire life... it's been sad to see it in decline. I hope it can be turned around. The Olympic concept is still so brilliant -- and probably needed more than ever in our chaotic world. Anyway, it's not ALL doom and gloom! Here's one of the better stories to come out of these Winter Olympic games. Just a simple, classy act of sportsmanship (and dare I say, Olympic spirit?) by a gold medal winner from Finland: https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/winter-olympics/finnish-cross-country-skier-wins-gold-watches-rest-of-race-and-waits-to-embrace-last-place-finisher/ar-AATN8ni?ocid=uxbndlbing

What drives me away the most is how much time is wasted with absolute nonsense. There’s events going on constantly that can televised yet so much time is wasted with interviews, useless commentary, videos of athletes training, footage of families back home, etc. Seriously I don’t give a shit about how or where you train or what your family thinks. Just show me the damn events ffs.

Remington settles civil suit for 73 million that focused on Remington's targetting of young adults through video games, etc. Remington caves even though it couldn't possibly be responsible for what that evil creature did? Why isn't the FBI not held responsible? Backdoor gun control? All the politicians that let out violent criminals onto the streets need to be held accountable, then.

No we don't. If you acquire a handgun while living in NJ using a PtPP, it automatically gets registered. There are several ways of legally owning a handgun in NJ without it being registered: Inherited Bought while living in another State and brought with you when you moved to NJ Bought in NJ before PtPP's were a thing Bought in another State while being a dual resident of that State and NJ There is a way to voluntarily register firearms in NJ, but why would anybody want to do that?
