Yes, this is a must see. I couldn't have scripted it any better. MUST-SEE VIDEO: A local TV newscast makes the most perfect mistake ever - American Thinker

.22's totally slipped my mind, sheesh, that's at least 3 more permits. Keep in mind we are just playing with you here, buy as many or as few as you feel you would like. Going by past experience though, one permit is never enough. Example, my wife wanted a hand gun, she applied for two permits at my request, said I don't need two hand guns, but i talked her into it anyway, saying it can't hurt. I purchased a .22 pistol, she shot it, loved it and request to purchase one of her own, ohh, don't need a second permit huh? Now she has an M&P 380 EZ, a Ruger SR22 an M&P 15-22 rifle and a 9mm Bullpup rifle. Slippery Slope. Odd thing though about the wives that shoot, they never buy ammo! All I hear is, did you bring ammo for me...

Yes, they did say as people leave (or get kicked out for rules violations or non-payment) they will allow new members in. We're just not going to go above that number. And prospective members will be contacted based on the submission date of the application.

"Sponsors" are not needed. Members get a credit on the next year's dues when a new member puts their name down on the application. I did not have a sponsor when I joined. The bigger challenge is that we put a cap on total active members, 4200 or 4300, I forget which. We're very close to or at that number already.

My plan was to buy one hand gun and one rifle too lol that didn't work out too well. Get a few permits. You won't regret it.

-Each PP is good for 90 days and can be extended for another 90 days, 180 total. However, thanks to that crook Jon Corzine N.J. now allows only one handgun purchase per month. -You're perfectly within your rights to request multiple PP's. The local PD doesn't get to decide the number of PP's they will or will not issue and applicants requesting multiple PP's is not unusual. -To purchase a long gun you have to present your FID card, drivers license and pass the NICS check. No PP necessary and no limit on the number purchased.

hehe, i put my cell phone for my work number since ive been working from home for 2 years now. There really isnt a direct number to my job. Maybe thats why im still waiting 2 months for permits

Welcome, 1. Depends on the department and the officer doing the background check. 2. Threatening to call an employer acts as a deterrent, just like it is possibly doing for you. NJ does not want any citizen to be armed, at all, in any instance.

The GUN STORE @gunforhire is way ahead of schedule. Museum, Ammo (competitive pricing), Reloading supplies, Ceracoating, Gunsmithing, Full Retail Department, and much, much more…… #gunforhire #gunforhirerange #gunstore #openingsoon #museum #woodlandpark IMG_9502.MOV

Hello - glad to be here! I'm planning to make my first firearm purchase and ready to apply for a permit. My concern is the section on employment. I just started a new job this week. I don't know how my employer will view me if they get a call from police asking about me - especially if they mention why. My questions are: Do they typically call an employer to verify employment to issue a permit? How does employment have any relevancy to gun ownership? Thank you!

You probably had a LARC M19 Annihilator! Those used Freon cannisters. Things have come a long way since then.

I had one as a kid back in the late 80's before NJ AWB went into effect. Wouldn't recommend it (I doubt it's still produced) as it was basically a pressure-vessel with a valve, grip and barrel attached. Fill with BB's, attach air compressor hose, pull "trigger" (really opened a valve to pressurize the chamber) and it started spitting BB's out the barrel. A useful piece of advice I CAN offer - if what you end up with has a "magazine" that is essentially just a tank to pour bb's into, add a pinch of dry graphite powder for lube.

I have shot this and it was a blast! https://www.umarexusa.com/beretta-m92-a1-177-black Not sure about reliability, but it ran fine the day I shot it. Make sure you have a LOT of BBs and CO2 - you'll burn through it faster than you think.

That may change after March 15th when all the dues are in. I spoke to Bob and its a soft cap, which means when people dont reup it opens for new members. FYI the wait list is about 3 months atm.

I think the only thing a sponsor does is get them a $50 discount, it sure as hell doesn't get you in there faster

One last thing factor shipping as well as transfers when purchasing online versus a local gun store. The local gun store may seem more expensive up front but buying from them u don’t pay the transfer. Cash is also king! When you buy online add the shipping and also transfer fee to get an apples to apples comparison. NICs is NICs so no avoiding that. If you buy online cuz the LGS don’t have in stock you can always ask them if they can get it as well before you go online. Just my past experience of course

I think everyone should just get five or six permits each time. Worst case is NJSP gets a few extra dollars. Much better than waiting an unknown time for your application to clear again. On the other hand, you can also apply for multiple handgun exception if there are specific guns you definitely want at once from your LGS. It might add complication but it's worth knowing about. This is done at the same time you apply for handgun permits. Also highly recommend getting one or two long guns with each handgun purchase if you know you'll be getting it anyway. Saves on your NICS checks.

Yes do yourself the favor and get multiple permits. You have 6 months to decide what you want for gun2, gun3 etc. look at it this way skip the Venti Starbucks and get the Grande right there it’s yer 2 extra permits lol.

Ha, ha! It always starts out that way. That was my plan as well, but fair warning: It rarely stops there.

Possibly interested in a case or two if you can get it at that price, depending on geography.

I would not suggest he put down unemployed. Then he is lying on the form, which would cause an entire other level of grief if caught.

Just an fyi. It’s illegal for them to call your place of work. Only your personal references they can contact.
