The case was already argued. We're just waiting for the decision. Sadly, SCOTUS are completely unaccountable to anyone and are happy to see our rights continuing to be infringed while they do whatever it is they do.

Unless something has changed in NJ since I left, you can use any regular AR pistol grip. Those other grips are for Ca and NY compliance.

All these are NJ Legal. For NJ Compliance you just need to have a muzzle brake/comp pinned in place and a fixed position stock (Adjustable stocks can be pinned in place). The last one is a Non-NFA "other" firearm - it's got other rules in place but you can have an adjustable brace and non-pinned muzzle device (as long as the Overall Length is more than 26" and you have a vertical foregrip).

I always knew from the time I was 18 NJ firearm laws are bad. It wasn't until I bought a house in a free state and visited a local gun range and than a Gun show that I realized how bad they really are. After this ruling I believe NJ is going to change for the better, but we still won't be as free as other states. I'm leaving for good in 3 more years. Just in time for things to get better here. Outside of the boardwalks I don't think I'm going to miss NJ.

I couldn't agree more, this should have been settled in 2019 when their was a load of carry cases that SCOTUS refused to hear. The case has been heard already and we are currently waiting for a decision. SCOTUS MUST ISSUE THE VERDICT ON OR BEFORE JUNE 27TH.

thing is.......especially with trumps appointments, we should be seeing a scotus following more closely to the constitution on this(yeayea i know, don't fooking laugh). but that aside, the scotus seems to like to rule on things like common practice, what the majority of the country does, etc. even going that way now, they can't(by their own standards) rule against the ny club in this. not with what? 20-something states with constitutional carry, and 42 total with nearly unrestricted carry? apparently it is VERY common practice to allownearly unrestricted ccw throughout the country. this necessatites that they rule against ny state, and force the remaining states that are may(no) issue to become shall issue. yeayeayea.....don't laugh at me, lolol

This should have been settled long ago.

Having owned all three M1A's - while the SOCOM is cool, looking - the front rail - as it is directly attached to your barrel, is a no go and affects accuracy out beyond 100 - DAMIHIK - if you get it remove it. Scout Squad is a nice mix between the Standard and the SOCOM - again loose the front rail The real sweet spot has been for me the standard - the other two went down the road.

This exemplifies the stupidity of the left wing nut jobs…..the stupid hurts! If a prohibited person “buys a gun from a private sale” doing so while prohibited is a criminal charge…but to then carry it concealed is another charge ….not “legally carrying a hidden loaded weapon in our communities” “This legislation will potentially allow individuals with a criminal history who purchase a gun through a private sale to legally carry a hidden, loaded weapon in our communities," said state Rep. Kimberly Alexander, a Democrat, according to the report.
