I have to hope that with all the domestic terrorists and democrats illegally protesting at the SC justices homes that they get "woke" and realize what we go through and come out with a stronger ruling in Americas favor.

It's better than I expected, but it does suck that only R's have to give. I did find it surprising that anti gun Booker signed onto it. https://www.breitbart.com/2nd-amendment/2022/06/12/bipartisan-gun-control-deal-announced-no-assault-weapons-ban-no-raised-minimum-rifle-age/

I’ve had no issues with M193/M855 with ALG-ACT trigger and the lower power springs. I have the same trigger in my Colt LE901 .308, and have experienced occasional light primer strikes on M80 ball. I need to switch to the heavier springs on that rifle.

Just as a data point, I have had no issues lighting off m193 with CMC drop ins, the ALG-act with JP springs, my giessele SD3G, the JP kit that needs fitting, or my adjustable triggertech. At this point, most of the triggers work fine for military primers. There will be more issue if you want them to operate pistol caliber uppers and rimfire uppers. Both of those are blowback, and induce more drag on the hammer which can negatively impact reset.

Hits harder means the force of the hammer on the firing pin, and as a result, the strike on primer, is harder. Some light triggers have trouble igniting military primers because some military primers are harder to ignite.

I'm sure someone else will chime in, but my understanding is that some triggers have lightened hammer springs to achieve a lighter trigger pull, which may result in light primer strikes. Hiperfire's design allegedly allows the hammer to hit harder the lighter the springs used.

I have a SSA-E, had a SSA and have a G2S. They are in that order, best to worst but the G2S on sale was really the only one that I thought was “worth it” but the other two are objectively awesome EDIT: crap, you clearly said single stage. Never mind then.

Sadly, as a board member and two active court cases I cannot comment as I could do more harm. I can say this, please hang on. The cases are almost over and many changes will be coming. We still need the 5 million members and their voices. The NRA has many. many cases that we cannot lose sight or support for. When I can I will be full disclosure. Believe me. The muzzle is killing me! Ant

On a recommendation from a board member here I purchased the LaRue MBT-2s tactical trigger for an M&P 15-22, very nice trigger, maybe not high end but, it was like night and day compared to the stock trigger it came with, for $107 shipped, I would purchase another if I was in need of a trigger. Im just a plinker but the trigger made a world of difference.

Nope. Nor will they cover the THOUSANDS of other times each and every year that defensive gun use occurs. And THOUSANDS of times per year is at the low end if the estimates. I've discussed it in the past in various threads but if you aren't familiar with how often firearms are used defensively each and every year then please do a little "googlefu" to look into it. The low end estimates are DGU (Defensive Gun Use) is at least equal to the estimate of criminal usage. At the higher end it's in the hundreds of thousands. Real number is probably something the middle. A very important point to keep in mind is that the vast majority of DGU (95+% or close to it) occurs without a shot ever having to be fired. Restricting private gun ownership would create THOUSANDS of new victims each and every year.

You’d be surprised how often people do not react when shot. Pistol rounds are notoriously bad at stopping bad guys. The armor does not stop working magically on the 5th anniversary of its being manufactured. The “expiration” date is there as “insurance”. Moisture breakers down aramid fibers. The humidity and sweat your body produces provides enough moisture to affect the armor. The “expiration” date is assuming you are wearing the armor every day for 5 years on 100* weather and rain storms every other day. If you take care of your amor: • Keep it dry • Lay it flat or Hang it • Don’t store it in a hot trunk all summer The armor will last much longer than the 5 year NIJ “expiration date”. Side note - in Europe, they certify the same armor for 10years. As a confidence boost - I have taken armor to the range that was manufactured in the mid 1990s and shot it with .38, 9mm, .40 and .45 and 00B 12g. The armor stopped everything.
