  1. fuel tank? Find the metal , 5 gallon kind https://www.uline.com/Product/Detail/H-1850R/Safety-Storage/Gas-Can-Type-I-Red-5-Gallon?pricode=WA9292&gadtype=pla&id=H-1850R&gclid=CjwKCAiAm-2BBhANEiwAe7eyFOVWThwB5BkoPS7jlom2HrtVazQHJrnGtoHWvZ9iJ_kjwwxI8hndnRoCeiYQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds or, drill a hole in the tank opposite the nozzle to allow air in, you must plug this when storing the fuel, but it will help with the glug gluging the ezpour kit is basically a piece of plastic tubing that replaces the spout/nozzle if you buy that kit, you only need to buy one, and transfer it to gas cans as you use them
  2. hey, not sure where you went with this, but if you should check to see if it needs a drain. lots of icemakers just make ice and don't keep it frozen and don't re used the water from the melted ice. Sorry I can't offer any real answer to your question
  3. Yes I have experience with that particular frame, and the full-size version. Mine has the opposite of Glock pig nose, the front polymer dips down and away from the slide for about 1/16th of an inch gap. Use oem parts ( except for the magazine release, slide release, magazine release spring, pins,) everything else I have tried just does not work. Assembly is easy, but you may have to sand the rails to get things moving right. Tons of support online, but not tons of fitment support from poly80. There are also other serialized frames out that are that are glock compatible for around the same price. https://www.glockstore.com/GSX-100-Frame?quantity=1&color=1 https://www.primaryarms.com/nomad-defense-glock-19-gen-4-frame and for more https://www.lonewolfdist.com/Timberwolf Poly80 has pretty good customer service, and have sent replacement rails ( even though it's a cosmetic defect not a rail issue) for both frames at the drop of an email.
  4. 1. Application type (FID/permit w/ existing FID) - 5 P2P 2. Police Department where you applied.- Keyport 3. Name of the person you dealt with at the PD.- Gerilyn Baker 4. Time taken to issue FID and/or permit.- 134 days 5. Documents required by the PD (aside from the standard application and the mental health release form). Employment Verification via Email 6. Notes - anything pertaining to the application process (unforeseen difficulties, chief of police calling your home, you hiring an attorney, etc.) Gerilyn is only there Monday-Friday from 8:30am - 4:00pm, and is the one that processes the paperwork. Town Website says you must download and fill out application and mental health forms, but I was handed them at the PD. Gerilyn advised that they are extremely back logged at the state police end. My Timeline so far is: 8/27 Application and Mental Health forms dropped off to pd 12/3 contacted pd and was told references are missing 12/4 had references email pd 12/22 Told permits were ready for pickup 12/29 Permits ready but Gerilyn on vacation 1/5 3 of 5 permits picked up Gerilyn has been very helpful- answered all of my questions, and usually responds to my calls within the day. Was told today 1/5/21 that they only normally allow 3 permits at a time to be approved
  5. Yeah, that doesn't mean anything though, plenty of places wont ship to nj just because I've been in contact with them and they won't ship because they dont understand nj gun laws, but are willing to ship after speaking to an ffl about the laws- I want to make sure before going any further that it would even be possible
  6. Didn't know where else to put this, and I'm hoping an ffl will chime in Would this be legal to ship to nj https://www.genesisarms.com/product-page/gen-12-upper-only And, would this be able to be made nj compliant by adding a Thumbhole stock, or changing to one of those ca legal not a pistol grips and pinning the stock? https://www.genesisarms.com/product-page/gen-12
  7. Its not flawed logic when you consider its supposed to be a range for hunters, so its limited to calibers you can potentially Hunt with in nj.
  8. Be the guy that starts the green wave in your county
  9. Gotcha, So someone would have to buy the stripped lower in one state, assemble it into a rifle, sell it to a ffl, and then the ffl could sell it as a rifle? Can a private person in state A assemble a lower into a rifle and send the rifle configured to an ffl in state B and then have it sold?
  10. Yes, because it is not a shotgun nor a rifle. Could the frame be assembled into a rifle from a new reciver and then legally brought in a state other then your residence because its no longer an other, it has become a rifle? Is buying a used stripped lower in a different state different then buying an entire rifle?
  11. So, In not NJ, If you got one of those frames and assembled it into a rifle- its always stays a rifle on paper I think I need to start asking out of state ffl's questions.
  12. Is it like this in every state? Frame transferring as a frame then being classified rifle or pistol If someone lived in a free state, how would they make an AR lower into a pistol?
  13. oh, your definitely right about that- Its been a slow Sunday This is probably the wrong part of the forum for this thread now that I'm reading it. Please don't take my questioning as anything other then a quest for information. Why? is the permit to p2p required based on the intent of your final assembly of the frame? Some internet lawyer argument follows- Not purchasing a pistol, but purchasing a stripped lower- Assembling a pistol from a lower that was legally obtained, and it meets all nj pistol laws when it is done. Looking for a something that says it isn't allowed The closest thing I can find is 13:54-3.13 Which says Frame and handgun, and also receiver require p2p. But wouldn't that mean you need to have a p2p for stripped AR lowers? even if you assemble them into rifles?
  14. I'm aware its all just Theorycraft/mind exercise and a real answer won't exist until someone tries it and Gets in Trouble Gets it Approved More questions If, the frame is sold in a different state, and assembled as a carbine ( never having been a pistol at all), is that still a pistol to nj? So, if you wanted to make a pistol from one of the Timberwolf frames, would you need to use a p2p to purchase it? If you don't, why? If an AR lower isn't a rifle, and the Timberwolf lower isn't a pistol If you do, why? Does the design make it a pistol, and thereby require a p2p? Does your intent to assemble it as a pistol make it a pistol? If you do/can transfer it legally, and then assemble it into a pistol have you broken NJ Law? Which?
  15. Yes, I did mean AR Lower Interesting. So because it has a pistol grip from manufacture, its essentially always a pistol in Nj?
  16. In NJ, Is it legal to feel live animals to other live animals? Seems terrible, but many people who own snakes feed them live Mice/Rats/Rabbits- or have to buy live animals and euthanize them to feed fresh. There was a man in NC that was arrested for not feeding his fish ( it was later dropped). Would hate to be the guy that loses my 2a rights over something like pet-food
  17. What are the differences between that and a stripped lower?
  18. Going through the process now, will update it when I get through the steps Application type (FID/permit w/ existing FID) FID + 2 P2P 2. Police Department where you applied.- Keyport 3. Name of the person you dealt with at the PD.- Gerilyn Baker 4. Time taken to issue FID and/or permit.- 99 days 5. Town Website says you must download and fill out application and mental health forms, but I was handed them at the PD when I went down to ask how to get a FID. My Timeline so far is: 1/23 Application and paperwork pick up from local pd on 1/29 Fingerprinted 1/30 Paid for 212A online 1/30 Completed paperwork Submitted to Pd 2/5 References receive letters and respond 3/2 Followed Up via Email, was told still waiting on employment verification 3/3 Employment confirmed, told that I should hear back by end of week to set up an appointment for FID 3/16 Local Government closed to public during state of emergency 3/31 "At this time we are continuing with the suspension of non-emergent contact. I hope to have some good news for you soon." 4/21 Called and left message, Did not get a call back. 4/24 "I am hoping to have your application complete soon. I can only ask for your patience as we aren't doing business as usual right now. I will have you in as soon as I can. Stay safe." 5/7 Was called by Gerilyn and told everything is ready 5/8 Picked up FID + 2 P2P Gerilyn has been very helpful- answered all of my questions, and usually responds to my calls within the day. Process was long, I assume the Covid-19 pandemic starting on 3/13 and ongoing played a big part of the delay.
  19. https://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/frame-parts/frames/pfs9-serialized-frame-for-glock-17-22-aggressive-texture-prod118402.aspx?avs|Manufacturer_1=POLYMER80 or https://www.lonewolfdist.com/Timberwolf.aspx Is it a transferred as a pistol? Is it different then a stripped AR lower? If it isn't a pistol, and you assemble it as a pistol, how would you use a p2p for it? What if you assembled it into a pistol caliber carbine, like the mechtech? Just curiosity rearing up, nothing serious Looking for some enlightenment, expecting more confusion
  20. I don't know you , but I know I like your style. Welcome Felicia!
  21. I know its a bit late but, all Airsoft stuff is sold/shipped with a blaze orange tip as required by federal law. It is permanently attached or painted on. https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/15/272.3 No real danger to Airsoft, still a toy- just not allowed to remove the orange tip you already weren't supposed to remove.
  22. You got it easy! I got quizzed on smoker vs pressure cooker ribs and Taylor Ham Vs Pork Roll- These guys must be getting old, they gave away all the answers without realizing it. Welcome, Saw your an avid Fisherman Is there any good Freshwater Bass fishing in NJ? I've had better luck fishing over-fished lakes in NYC then I have with anything in NJ.
  23. finally googled it, been a super busy week. Where did you add rails to stiffen it, under the table top or to the legs?
  24. Could you put up a picture for me?
