Nah, it just your perception that prices are higher, in reality gas prices are dropping.

Yeah, kind of underwhelming, cloud coverage didn't help but there were some breaks.
Note to self for next eclipse: if not in the path of totality don't bother.

Anybody having luck getting those solar eclipse viewing glasses? I can't find them for sale anywhere.
Walmart said they've been sold out for week and everywhere else I went didn't have them.

Yeah, that ain't gonna happen with the world's reserve currency.
The $ dollar is the hard power of the empire, lose that and its game over.
They will default and/or deflate long before thats allowed. Reckless spending politicians not withstanding.

I thought the top N.J. income tax rate was 10%, maybe the annuity isn't such a bad idea?
Winning ticket sold in Neptune? Lord hope it be a U.S. citizen at least.

Contact a firearms attorney.
I'd suggest Frank Pisano in Montville.

$4.99 lb. was a good deal, $5.99 eh, not so much IMO. ( a 20% increase in three months).
BTW you can also clip the coupon.

Not in the N.J. Tower of Babel these days.
You want to go in front of a jury consisting of third world immigrants and/or minorities that you have nothing in common with and possibly hate you?

Thats what happens with one party rule.

Didn't see the other thread.
I guess "but what happens in a court room when the DA get the case" means the CCW holder was charged with something?

Where are the NJ tax revenues going to come from after the productive citizens flee the state? Illegals who are not welcome in their native countries because they either have no skills, or are too idolent to earn a living? From what I'm reading, most of those illegals are on the dole, as well as being protected from the consequences of their frequent criminality. State can't dole out what it doesn't have, and what it does have to give out comes from taxing the likes of you and me. Maybe FedGov would try to increase Federal taxes in the areas the productive citizens are fleeing to, to redistribute to shitholes like the DemonCraps are making of NJ, but that will ultimately meet with a lot of resistance, and cannot be sustained. If they are as criminal as I have been reading, if they don't have us to victimize, they will be assaulting and killing each other. That doesn't make for a viable or stable tax base, either. I don't doubt that TPTB in NJ plan what you claim, but it is a very short-sighted plan, and imo doomed to fail.
Welcome to third world politics. A few very wealthy elites on top and their apparatchiks, everyone else on the bottom.

Right.
The phrase "Home Rule" in never even mentioned in N.J. anymore.

Thats part of the political calculation.
Just make things so unpleasant and expensive in democrat run sates and cites people who can leave. With enough of them gone the dems have a free hand to do pretty much anything with no meaningful political opposition.
Gov. Cuomo and Mayor Adams in NY have come right out and said as much.

Big electric bill rate hikes hitting 4 million NJ customers again (nj1015.com)
Ours will be going up 8+%.
Doesn't seem to matter to a lot of people in my area, houses and businesses always lit up like a night game at yankee stadium. Multiple glaring lights everywhere.
So much for savings from LED's, it gets eaten up by rate increases. LOL.

How about a reputable in-home pet sitting?
You can get three or four visits a day of personalized service for less then you'd pay for boarding. The dog sleeps in his own bed, eats his own food, in his own house and walks/plays in his neighborhood or yard.
The dog will be less stressed in his nice familiar home and you can set up cameras as you wish. Some dogs think they've been abandoned when you dump them at a boarder with a lot of other stressed out dogs. At home they know you're coming back.
I've been in the pet sitting business fo many years and we've never had any issues with people going away for a week or two on vacation.
