Hello, Im Numan from Clifton in Passaic County I joined to gain knowledge on safe use of Firearms and Specifically Firearms laws in NJ as I am a new owner of a Springfield Armory 1911 in .45ACP and a Springfield Armory Saint Victor 5.56 Rifle. I love to hit the range once a week-I go to Reloaderz NJ in Wayne or Long Shot Pistol&Rifle in Secaucus. Recently, haven't really been to the range cuz of the extremely high Ammo prices!! Shhhheeeesh!!

Good morning all,
Brand new owner of Springfield Armory Saint Victor 5.56 Rifle and bored at home cuz I cant shoot it --all the ranges are closed. Im pretty new to the Firearms laws in NJ since this is my 2nd Firearm. I also own a Springfield 1911. My question is are we allowed to target shoot in State Forests? I know we are allowed to target shoot in approved shooting areas in a National Forest but I just cant seem to find any National Forest in NJ. The answer is probably NO lol-Thanks in advance.
