My two best friends are realtors and are predicting this will last for another year or two just off the supply and demand issue here with those moving out of the city. My parents house (which needs about 70 k in work) still sold 60 thousand over listing price. Im hoping the market does crash sooner though as im in the market for a house so im hopefully you're right.

Yeah im not too worried avout letting them know i have guns in the house, was just curious about the storage for legal reason during walk through. Ultimately i put a cable lock on the carbine and hid it in the attic, and i have all my pistols in safes and in taped boxes. Ammo is also in a taped box. Should be good to go right?

Im selling my house soon, so I'll be having lots if visitors coming by. Obviously guns will be locked in safes, does ammo need to be locked up as well?

I do want to also say, if i was buying again, id get it without the threaded barrel. It makes the take down a little more annoying.

I have one, it probably just needs the barrel to be welded so it doesn't have 2 evil features.

I find myself binging YouTube occasionally for drills and gun knowledge. Two of my favorite people to watch is Mick from Carrytrainer and honest outlaw for gun reviews. Looking for some more credible people. Im mostly looking for drills and training but all credible people are a plus.

If i were choosing between those 3 i would get the steel frame ppq (steel framed striker fired). If i was debating between polymers id get the vp9 or the walther pdp. I think the ppq is being discontinued. I have a ppq q5 match and its a fun gun but it certainly needs talon grips as i found it slippery. The pdp has more aggressive checkering.

How anyone could vote for murphy over just about anyone blows my mind. Ill take incremental changes or democrat light over dictator murphy any day. Dont forget we were the last state to take off our masks, the businesses that were killed from his lockdown (meanwhile he attends blm parades), the old people killed from "following the science" , giving extra money to illegal aliens etc. Voting for murphy is mind blowing, and if you dont vote you should stop complaining about democrats ruining the state further.

Yeah thats exactly what im trying to avoid. I officially accepted the job yesterday and ill be starting on the 18th of july (after recovery). Im excited for the new move. Can someone give me a quick history lesson here as to what happened at the Plainfield machine company? I live in dunellen. Is this during the 1967 plainfield riots? This is way before my time but I had no idea of the history of this area. Just did some more reading. Now it makes so much more sense. I'd always look at some of the houses and wonder how such large and sometimes nicely done houses are so cheap. I never knew the history of why it went downhill.

That is pretty badass looking. one hell of a nightstand gun too. I love long slide guns though. seems the 45 is smaller. It sounds like a glock 34 with a comp would be the easiest to both get and find holsters for.

nice, so buy gen 3 glock 17 or 34, switch slide, barrel, add sights, and internals and good to go. I think it could be a fun project. ill catch some grief but i kinda like the look of "tacticool" glocks.

This is one of the ones I was looking at as well. Jarvic inc makes barrels. I was thinking about putting a comp on this as well. Any idea if im accurate in saying these slides will fit a regular glock 17 or 34 frame? would you suggest one over the other?

Im debating grabbing a few more permits to potentially try building my own glock 17L. I shot the glock 34 which I loved but I figure the longer the better right! From googling and checking other glock forums it seems as though the best route is to either buy a glock 17 or a glock 34 and then purchase a 17L slide and barrel. Do i need a specific glock 17L frame? It seems the internals are the same? Im curious what type of fitting is generally needed after? Is it as easy as switching them out? Im still very new to pistols so I know more research is needed but I feel like a glock would be a good pistol to learn to "work on" since so many parts are interchangeable. Also threaded pistol barrels are legal correct? This is the latest info i found on that. ii.
