  1. i'll take 500 rds of the x39 and the 500 IMI 5.56 I'm in Morris county
  2. Thanks I saw it that's a very nice firearm! I actually had one on order and let someone else have my reservation since I ended up building too much other stuff while waiting. I have a p308 upper that needs a home, though I can get it to fit an Aero M5 lower there are some issues with pin diameter good luck with your sale!
  3. thanks I have a Mod 3 on my Mossberg500, it's about 2.75", don't see need to go much shorter maybe will shoot for somewhere between 2.5 and 3.5
  4. Quick question as my search did not turn up the answer - what's the minimum length or does it depend on hand size if I can get my full hand around it, all but pinkie, etc guessing there might not be a clear answer as with much of these rules This would be for a "NJ Other"
  5. my understanding is you can have hollow points in your home in NJ. you probably don't want to use them on an intruder
  6. Realistically, I think that 99.99% of the time this will only matter when brought in front of a DA/jury after the firearm is used in self-defense, but given the current climate that is a now an event we must anticipate. Because of the deliberate vague laws, I think using hollow points in self defense in one's own home may also be thought of in a similar way?
  7. Thanks guys, my barrels are all 16 or more without brake I am just trying to figure out all of the pinning options to satisfy NJ assuming I would like a threaded barrel or already own threaded barrels. Then figure out whether it's soemthing I am wiling to try myself or pay someone
  8. looking for one is nice condition thank you
  9. Just had a thought - for the brakes that have the clamping screw as below, is there a way to solder/weld the screw part on the brake such that you don't have to mess with the barrel itself for NJ compliance?
  10. I'll look elsewhere more trafficked too but in case anyone has one laying around
  11. Thanks guys, I am familiar with the VG6 and Surefire. I should have mentioned this will be 7.62x39 and the VG6 cage is not designed for the pressures of this cartridge otherwise that's the way I would have gone. The Warden is a bit pricey, which is why I wanted to know what the actual law was. I think you can fit suppressors to the Surefire brake as well so wouldn't that make the thread issue moot? I was also looking at the KAK blast converter but that will offer less flexibility though it does have 3 position adjustment
  12. Hi everyone I am looking to add a muzzle brake that accepts a blast shield for indoor ranges but which I can take off for outdoor shooting. I like the Yankee Hill Machine shields which can mount on some of their brakes or a version that can mount on brakes from Griffin, Silencerco, etc. My question is once a brake like this is pinned to the barrel, is it considered a threaded barrel? my barell is 16" without the muzzle device by the way. For example, this Griffin Paladin will take the shiled below it from YHM
