  1. Has anyone received their mags yet?
  2. When we would drive down to NC we always went 12 miles out of our way and stopped at J&R in Selma, grabbed some cigars and some aftershave that they carried, the stores there were fun to browse. Once it was sold they closed the store no more nick nacks, just a small cigar store on the very end.
  3. I’m sure a few here are cigar smokers, what is your go to cigar? Mostly Romeo & Juliet for me, I enjoy an Acid blondie every now and then, League of extraordinary men is yummy also, Arturo Fuente is another I enjoy. Had a connection for Cubans, have a few Esplendidos left, save those for golf with the boy’s.
  4. They sell as a 2 plate set, is that meant for 1 worn on your chest and 1 worn on your back?
  5. Got in under the bell. All are out of stock, was great while it lasted. Was looking for a 15-22 charging handle, then clicked on new arrivals just to see what was out there, glad I did.
  6. Looks like a total of 32 left, only 4 at $39.95.
  7. None, tried smacking the grip around and applied light pressure on the mag release with full mags. Read that also.
  8. I can’t answer that, don’t own a Canik. Hit the range this morning with my 3 mags and they all function perfectly in the Walther pdp. Grab them while you can.
  9. That’s them, if you want to wait till tomorrow, I’ll be hitting the range at 11am, I’ll post around 1pm.
  10. Canick mags, Bought 1, identical to the Walther except for the base plate which is a bit smaller but still fits flush with the gun, slide locks back, no issue, bought 2 more, hitting the range with them tomorrow, will let you know if any issues. 17 in stock at $39.99, the rest are 45.95. ndzperformance.com click new arrivals, in there.
  11. I have two of these. https://www.primaryarms.com/primary-arms-slx-rotary-knob-25mm-microdot-with-2-moa-dot-reticle For the money it’s hard to beat, one is on the wife’s 9mm bullpup, had the second on my Ar, then went with a vortex scope, not because I wasn’t happy, just wanted magnification. If I remember correctly it came with a mount and spacers, don’t quote me on that though. The second is on the wife’s 15-22 now but I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another if I needed one. The glass is really nice, both have never lost zero.
  12. LOL, just called and was able to get them on the phone, the Blem listed is in fact not for the 15-22, and he also stated, they have decided to discontinue the 15-22 charging handle.
  13. I saw that, it doesn't list it as for the M&P 15-22, also the M&P 15-22 charging handle isn't listed on their web page. I sent an email to inquire if the charging handle would be in stock, never got a response back, been a few weeks now.
  14. Sounds like you will need to make some room in the safe. Lol
  15. Andy, I just built one myself this week, haven’t tried it yet, but seems sturdy. 3 10’ lengths of 1” conduit from Home Depot all cut in half. bought 2 of these from McMaster Carr https://www.mcmaster.com/4936T179 if the set screws don’t hold well I was going to drill the pipe and use shear pins, we’ll see. I had to ream out the fittings a bit so the pipe slid on easily, dremel took care of that. Bought these hooks from Amazon, High Caliber Targets Est. 2012 V Shape Hooks, few reviews I read, people complained about the target popping off the half hooks. Once set up the targets hang about 30” off the ground.
  16. I have been on the notify list for the combo handle/safety package for what seems to be forever.
  17. Looks awesome, I liked the description of a “get off me gun”
  18. The Larue 2 stage trigger arrived Thursday, installed Saturday, took it to the range today. Ran 200 rounds not a single hiccup with 3 different brands of ammo, grouping’s tightened up to 1 moa. The wife shot 150 of those rounds, even got a thank you from her. The new trigger totally transformed the shooting experience with the rifle to a, pleasure to shoot. At $100 it is exactly what I was looking for, installation took a few minutes. Thanks for the recommendation SRT392.
  19. Spend what you can and feel comfortable with, compact and subcompact polymer hand guns take some training and time invested to shoot with confidence. My two HD hand guns are, a full size Walther PDP with a light and Leopold Delta Point Pro mounted, that is in the bedroom, in the living room is a Colt 1911, both in the $1400-$1600 range, my wife and I shoot both well and manipulate them well. Try to rent what you think you want to buy, it can save you money and disappointment later if you buy a gun before trying it to find out you don’t shoot it well and hate the feeling of it when shooting.
  20. Some great advise right here. Smaller polymer hand guns take a bit more practice to shoot effectively due to their size and weight, there will be more kick since the weight is lighter. A larger steel hand gun with a larger sight radius will shoot easier since it has some heft to it. I told my brother-in-law this when he got his FID and PTP, if you are going to shoot the handgun once every other year and leave it in a safe, buy a Glock.
  21. Ordered the pins and Larue trigger, the trigger had no bad reviews. The rifle is a great little gun! Except for that awful trigger, the wife likes my Wilson trigger so she should be very happy with this upgrade. And all in for $120 I’m happy. Thanks
  22. That trigger hits all my purchasing points, Thank You Question, with the 901 pins, anti walk pins are not needed?
