  1. I'm in Piscataway also and this doesn't sound very encouraging.
  2. I've seen ads for various types of laser aiming devices made to help you zero in your sights and I'm wondering if they're any good. There's the rod type where it inserts into the barrel or the cartridge type where it's shaped and sized to be inserted into the chamber and the laser projects to your target then you line up your sight to it. TIA.
  3. I have a brand new, never opened biometric safe. I bought 2 of them with the intention of having one on each floor of my house to keep my pistols. I decided to go with a different pistol safe for downstairs so I don't need this one anymore. It opens with your fingerprints (you can store up to 100 finger prints) with a physical key as backup. This safe can be anchored or bolted to a solid surface and is pretty heavy. It has a shelf and key hooks on the door. There's an interior light. This safe is very sturdy and reads fingerprints very quickly. Pick up or meet only. Cash, Paypal, Venmo, or Zelle.
  4. I think emailing them or calling them is better. This way you can tell them why you're unsubscribing and won't be doing business with them.
  5. Yeah, right on their website they say they don't ship to NJ and a couple of other states like California, etc. Oh well, plenty of other places to shop.
  6. Let me know if you get tired of waiting for a reply. I'm in Piscataway so I'm not far.
  7. Good points but I got this mostly for home defense. I got it used at a decent price. As mentioned on my other post, I want to put fixed or iron sights on it but decided it was too much of a hassle to replace the stock gas block with one that has a front sight on it. Now with the fact that I can't mount anything to the hand guard and the stock one doesn't have the delta wring with a spring type retention ring, that makes removing the guard difficult. So I'm thinking the better way may be to replace the entire upper with a shorter barrel and keep the stock one for when I want to do long range shooting or just sell it.
  8. Thanks for providing the measurements. This confirms that mine doesn't have M-Lock because the slits measure 1.87" long and 0.37" wide. Looks like an entire upper replacement for me.
  9. Interesting. Could someone with known M-lock measure the width of the slot? thanks.
  10. I have a Bushmaster Varminter with the hand guard pictured. I want to mount a light to the side of it but I don't know what that mount is called. I'm aware of Picatinny and Weaver mounts but what are the slot type mounts called so I can get a light with the correct mount. Thanks.
  11. Yeah, a complete upper may be an option.
  12. Unfortunately the hard guard doesn't use a standard barrel nut with a spring. I thought about replacing the guard with one that has the rails but I can't get the stock guard off. I'm still contemplating on what to do and explore my options. Maybe I'll just get a red dot or scope and be done with it.
