Ohio just passed Constitutional Carry. So when will the so called leadership of NJ gun owners bring us any relief here? By the fact that more than 25 states provide CCW, the 14th Amendment says NJ must also. New Jersey gun owners need more help than just moving to another state.

Its a sound legal strategy and the basis that gays got gay marriage allowed in all 50 states. Whether to invest $100,000 in legal fees to fight inside a totally corrupt legal system is the real question.

That retired cops basically get a rubber stamped carry permit is a blatant violation of our Constitutional rights under the 14th Amendment. But gun groups refuse to use this as an argument. Planned failure as NJ has been forever. NJ gun owners have no chance of ever seeing their 2nd Amendment rights restored. Zero.

They charged him under the HP statute, even though it didn't apply. When you have a government of criminals run by criminals and protected by criminals, they can do whatever they please. It was an old friend from about 1996 who recognized it was time to flee and he moved to FL. I did not write down the details. Up in Morris here, Roxbury cops were stopping innocent motorists and fleecing them with ficticious charges that were not even on the books. Didn't exist. The lawyers were worthless or even part of the scam, and just plead down the fine. This went on for years until one private citizen took it to Superior court and proved it was a well orchestrated shakedown by police and the municipal court. The point is that if you think you have rights, remember where you are.

Just remember, this is New Jersey which is utterly corrupt at every level. That zombie ammo box will be the lead story of the news broadcast portraying the home owner resisting a home invasion ass a bloodthirsty murderer looking to do even more than kill those misled thieves whose only crime it was to seek keys to steel a car. Just take a look at how the news is slanted and corrupted. As I have stated before, a friend of mine down around Bedminister shot a home invader 3 times with 125 JHP .357. He was cleared of the shooting but indicted on the jhp bullets. Finally that charge was dropped but only after some long legal negotiation with an anti-gun prosecutor looking to manipulate the law. And today, you can pretty much expect that every single prosecutor in the entire state will be out to get you once you pull that trigger. What the law says, what the state says it means, and how they manipulate it against you are 3 separate issues. BTW, the PCP fueled scumbag lived with 2 of the 3 rounds going right through his chest. I saw the chips in the garage wall cinderblock myself.

I my small gun club of about 350 members, the NJ State Police had a plant, so just imagine how corrupted the NRA is from the inside out - as they have proven time and time again.

When gays won their right to marry in all 50 states by the case carried to the US Supreme Court, observers stated that the decision unfortunately opened the door to the entire country gaining the right to carry firearms. There was quite a lot of discussion given that the US Supreme Court held that if 51 percent of the states acknowledged gay marriage, then it would not be denied to the remaining 49% of the states. But NJ gun groups never pursued this to my knowledge. Neither did the pursue 14th Amendment violations within the state given that retired cops were rubber stamped a carry permit; having no greater need than any other citizen. In fact, when gun groups favored the legislation to allow retired cops to carry, the argument is that would open the door to civilian carry, and of course we all know how wall that worked. Many inside the gun lobby were against bringing up the 14th Amendment argument with police not wanting to hurt our friends in law enforcement - a quite debatable position. Both were genuine and powerful arguments never used as far as I am aware.

They did. We had a very progun state senator who we helped get into the congress and he was the pivotal last vote that passed Clinton's AW ban. Florio also bribed Repub Bill Gormley for the critical last vote for our AW ban which the GOP had multiple opportunities to repeal and didnt.

Cops have always used throwdowns to cover up their crimes and that was the point. What city they may have murdered someone in is totally irrelevant. Sadly, no one recognizes civility any more, and the only thing that gets any attention is comments such as Fuck Joe Biden. Yes that sound like it. Guess it wasn't a lie. So multiple cops frisk you, handcuff you behind your back, put you in a sterile patrol car, and then claim you shot yourself with a concealed handgun in your temple while still handcuffed and everyone involved believes the bullshit of a suicide.
