If you've seen the lawsuit filed by ANJRPC it addresses every part of the recent ccw permit scheme to prevent you from carrying including the liability insurance issue. The lawsuit also challenges the states handgun permit scheme and I believe it challenges the purchase permit for rifles and shotguns as well. All of this was filed in federal court the day Gov Snaggletooth signed the bill and I believe the state has until sometime this coming week ( I could be wrong) to file their brief or statement. Until then here's a link in NJ woods and Water about the ANJRPC lawsuit https://www.njwoodsandwater.com/forums/topic/60122-anjrpc-carry-lawsuit/#comments

I have multiple lubes from the Hoppe's original to their high performance lube. At the moment i like using the Baristol. Thanks hickok45. I probably over clean as I'll usually put about 50-150 rounds through then clean. I never really know when I'm going to go through a stretch of not shooting, I'd say that's my mentality.

I'm in the auto parts business and when customers look at my prices and start to complain even a little I tell them all the same thing. Look at who's in office, look at whats going on in the world, and think about who your voting for in November. Problem is I'm literally preaching to the quire as all of them agree with me on who needs to be voted out! -
UPDATE: I have never done a money order up until today. Went to the post office and money orders can only be cash or debit card. There's a top portion of the money order that is tearable, that is your receipt. I called my servicing PD (njsp sussex) to schedule an appointment to turn in my application. Firearms Sgt wasn't in and will be in on Monday at 10am. At this point I can breath a little easier for the next couple of days even though I still need to schedule and turn in my packet and schedule fingerprints.

I just passed qualifications through Gun for Hire. I have never shot at this location. For what was offered compared to other ranges running qualifications GfH's qualifier are 24 shots at 7yds, 14 at 10 yds, 6 at 15yds, and 6 at 25yds. Plus a notary is on site and the photo's required are also done on site as well. No issues with my application. Have your handgun permit(s) with you or a receipt of purchase, that's your proof of ownership. Have extra copies of your handgun permit as the copies you have with you will be turned into the police with your application. If you screw up your application there are extras at the front counter. Personally I made 4 copies of the permit so I have a notarized copy for myself

to all those who've already submitted applications and received their permits. The municipality code you used. Is that the same code which I.D.'s your servicing police dept? my servicing dept are NJ state police Augusta Troop B. If that is the code I have it. I've heard reports that the carry permit applications are getting sent back because of this reason. -
I picked up US Law Shield earlier this month. There are several options to get a percentage off or a couple of months free coverage. I plan on take on a couple more of their additional packages. I can't afford an attorney outright so this was the next best option, and they will assist with the stupid red flag laws.
