Just looking for a project k98 that can be a sniper clone host. Preferably an already drilled receiver I do not plan on drilling into a non bubbad receiver. Can just be a barreled action for all I care.

Looking for a restoration project. German k98 sporters of any kind. Drilled and tapped, cut down stocks, etc. only thing I’d prefer is that the barrel not be chopped. just looking for a project to occupy myself. Open to other firearms as well of the same time period

Yeah I’ve noticed that. Unfortunately I’m behind the ball with a lot of the milsurp stuff so I figured I’d try and grab one now vs waiting. And okay I’d definitely be interested. Let me try and sort a few things out and sell off a a rifle I don’t use and see what I get for it. I appreciate the reply

The whole process to get one is a little over my head but I figured I’d give it a go. I'm interested in acquiring a k98 or other milsurp rifles of that time. They do not need to be pristine or #'s matching. Just a good shooter.
