Has anybody dealt with the Sussex barracks with the new qualifications and if they are requiring the full requal or just the class portion. I did my qualification at RTSP.

Just picked up permit, it has see court order on it checked. I have to carry the court order with me and I’m restricted to gun I qualified with.

I read on either another board or a different forum group that someone had to pay the increased fee amounts even after he already had submitted before the new law.

The magistrate of Sussex County is no longer accepting CCW permits. The new law written and passed by the New Jersey legislature and Signed by the Governor has taken them out of the process (anyone familiar with the law its old news).
So our State Government has essentially stopped all CCW permits in SC from being processed, circumventing our 2nd amendment rights.
This new law does not include the "new CCW permit" for carrying. If you look at the permits you will see "signed by Superior Court Judge"
Is anybody's Chief in their town also a Superior Court Judge? So the State has just found another way to keep us from exercising our second amendment rights. New Jersey legislature is great isn't it.
So Im just wondering, if and when your qualification anniversary date for expiration comes due, Do you just have to requalify or start the process all over again under the new Law.
I just talked to someone from the courts today and he said my app is in the next bunch to be reviewed by the judge this Thursday.

Sept 10 Fingerprints done
Sept 10 handed in Application
Dec 01 References called
I guess this is just how its gonna be, 90 days / 3 months to completion. I hope.
That’s crazy, that means I may get mine by the 1st of the year and the new laws won’t let me carry anyway

Has anyone from Sussex county got their PTC within the last week or so yet?

Thanks, so Sussex county is restricting to guns qualified with only?

Nice! I actually talked to a sergeant today at the Sussex barracks, he had a couple question about my application. He had said they got a new judge that’s working on them and they should be sending them out soon finally.

I’m sure Sussex county is still holding all applications too??

1 minute ago, Mr.Stu said:You can carry as many as you want.
Personally, I carry at least 1 spare, and usually 2.
That’s kinda what I thought, I didn’t see anything about carrying extra mags. Definitely will carry 1 but I have a 2 mag pouch when the times comes to having the PTC.
-
So we know there is a limit on mag size, but is there a limit on how many extra you can carry on your person when legally carrying in NJ?? How many are you carrying?
-
The best part about this whole thing is Ocean county says you can not have your gun on you while driving in your car??? But if you live in say Morris county and you have no restrictions, you can drive down to ocean county and have your gun on your hip in your car while the people that live in that county can not. And yet some judges are spitting the permits out and others “need more direction”

If you have a court order you MUST abied by that order until you RENEW or get a NEW UNRESTRICTED permit
