  1. Yes I understand that & will obviously abide by it. I am not stupid. I mentioned with the lawsuits going around there was a stipulation that as long as your qualified to carry you shouldn’t be restricted to 1 gun. I will let everything play out & see what happens down the road. It seems each county is making up their own rules which is unconstitutional as per 2nd amendment. im not even going to ask about qualifying with another gun and having it put on my permit yet. They have an attitude when you speak with them. They act like they’re doing you a favor. I have a Glock 26 which is great. It’s just the point I brought up about the restriction placed on my permit when an adjoining county gives no restrictions. It’s all good!!!
  2. I’m in Mercer county, Hamilton. I put my stuff in before the new rules. The forum helped me with getting in touch with the court to see what was going on. I think it was 2 weeks ago I called & it was being signed by the judge then sent to local PD. That’s the last I’ve heard. When PD gets it they’re supposed to call me to pick up but nothing yet. So don’t want to call & “ Annoy” them so my permit goes missing or whatever ( you know what I mean). Just waiting. it says on the back of permit as per court order for personal protection. So if I see someone being shot at or robbed I’ll just go the other way I guess!!!!
  3. It was posted on this forum. As I said I’m not doing anything other than the order says. I’m only carrying my gun that’s listed. I’ll bring it up after all the lawsuits are over & the dust settles
  4. Well as soon as I submitted my post PD called to pick up my permit. On the back about the restrictions 2 boxes are checked. 1 is See below & the other is see court order .Below says “Valid as stated on court order” They gave me the court order which I have to carry. The order states only the gun I qualified with & I have to carry the order with me. Also the only carry where allowed. I read that the carry of the gun you qualified with is not legal meaning I should be allowed to carry any handgun I own but for now I’m not going to bring it up. I’ll wait a while to see how things play out. Seem each county is making their own rules

  6. Just called. Nicholas was a gentleman, very easy to talk to ( we all know how some with this can be, like they don’t want to help you). Working on it today then the judge signs off & it goes back to Hamilton PD. We’ll see how long Hamilton holds on to it. thanks again for that information!!!
  7. Thanks my brother. I didn’t want to argue with the person on phone. I asked 2x in a way that said how can you NOT have a number to call.
  8. Just called Hamilton PD in Mercer. Said it’s in the courts hands. As soon as they hear back from the courts they will call me. Dropped money order off back in late November or beginning of December ( just before all the Murphy nonsense). Also spoke to the Detective working on my app. just before dropping money order off & he said he spoke to my references & im good to go. they said they have no number or who to call at the courts to see what’s going on.
  9. I agree totally. Needing 4 people NOT related to you to vouch for you is BS. Also are the people you use goi g to be held liable?? I used 3 of my family members( before the “NEW” bill). My wife knows me 35 yrs.the others 24& 21 yrs. Who knows you better than your own family??
