  1. I fundamentally agree with you but if you're a public figure you give up a lot of that privacy.
  2. Fenatyl? Who knows? Not giving a cause of death creates all kinds of speculation.
  3. @Mrs. Peel. AFAIK reloading to sell someone else is in violation of federal law. The reloaded needs a Federal ammunition manufacturer's FFL.
  4. Any Jewish or Polish deli should have herring.
  5. GRIZ

    Dummy scratch

Can't see this causing any function issues. Touch up blue or black felt marker. Either on will have to be touched up at times.
  6. I think staged. Almost no pedestrians.
  7. There is a mall near me with 10-12 outlying stores. If they don't have signs you can carry in them. The signs limit the area of no carry zones. No carry doesn't extend itself to the areas in front of the signs to simplify things.
  8. I don't see any issue carrying there absent a sign forbidding it.
  9. Yes, I've never met you. But the content and demeanor of your posts over time tell me you can carry in my house!
  10. You have to remember, the COTUS there to.protect you from the government. Not from other people. Whilst I don't like no gun signs, I respect the decision, whether it be corporate or private to not allow carry. There are some people on this forum I wouldn't allow to carry in my house. FWiW, if I met you you're not one of them!!!
  11. AFAIK ammo should be carried in a factory box or one of compartmented plastic cartridge boxes used reloading. This is how I carried ammo. No loaded magazines. Never had an issue. Ammo in the same locked box with the gun.
  12. 20-30 dollars at harbor freight will get it all. I did a front brake job for a baby Browning some years ago.
  13. Learned long ago you have just so many horsepower hours in an engine. Back in the 60s, a Judson supercharger in a VW beetle or Karman Ghia gave you tremendous performance. But short engine life. That's why I bought a Honda Odessey. BignV6, loafs along, mileage in the mid 20s average, highway 30 plus.
  14. Not sure. Always had stumps ground when they cut down the trees. All in the package.
  15. The problem is there probably isn't 100 airplanes in North America capable of dropping water or fire retardant. I'm not privy to any inside.info on this but I'm guessing there's maybe 20-25 aircraft in North America capable of dumping water. Now, if B52s could be equipped to dump water, with bombay and wing racks filled with water bombs that may have an effect. However, there are only about 70 B52s in service.
  16. Cash is nice in this situation
  17. Law that is clearly written is a bit hard to follow. I know. I dealt with that for over 30 years. A subject would have to.be in violation of all parts of the law. Example? Trump being charged with espionage. I haven't seen anything where he supplied a foreign government with classified information. But that's another story. NJ law on firearms is as clear as mud. Ive talked to Chiefs of police who don't understand it.
  18. 1 remember18 months ago there were so many that said we would never have concealed carry in NJ. 2 steps forward one step back.
  19. Far from apoplectic. NJ LEOs basically have to spot the bad guy the first shot. NJ statutes require us to invite the BG out of our homes. Yes the few slides for a FID were what NJ thought they could get away with. NJSP is mostly on our side. Publish IMI m1 Carbines didn't fall under AWB. Until reneged on by the governor/legislature. You may fear but most of us don't. It's about speculation on what they may come up with. When I started as a municipal police officer in 1974 I got 48 hrs firearms training. The chief was cheap and once I qualified my first week let me carry a gun. When I became a Federal officer they did the same thing but had 80 plus hrs of firearms training. Don't you think if NJ could get away with it they'd require 80 hrs of training?
  20. Point taken but don't you think NJ is going to come up with the most restrictive policy they can think of?
  21. I worked under the policies of my federal agency. Much more liberal (for you) than state guidelines. I had to make it clear to state and local task force officers that when they.were working for us, on our jobs, our policies applied not state policies.
  22. Your response shows the disparity of policies of agencies. Moreso differences between Federal and state policies. Pepper spray same as a punch in NYS? My agency looked at pepper spray as a soft technique. The same as putting your hand on their shoulder. Batons? Felony in NYS? Offensive weapon? My agency looked at then as a hard technique but better to use (in a disparity of force case) to maybe break a bone than have to shoot your opponent. I believe they are.
  23. I have Canon, Nikon, Pentax, and Minolta in 35 mm. Mamiya, Omega, and other.medium format. Graflex view and press cameras.
  24. You know I have almost as many cameras as I have guns.
  25. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up!!!
