  7. Sig doesn't now, nor have they ever manufacturered their own magazines. They source from either Checkmate or Megcar.
  8. The Longshot range should be open around September at 375 County ave., Secaucus. It's at the interesection of County and Secaucus opposite the DMV Inspection Station.
  9. Or just modify them permanently to 15 rounds. http://www.magazineblocks.com/magento/products/magblock-kits/ar15-magblocks.html Epoxying the floor plate on makes it a permeant modification. JB Weld will do it. I lived in Nutley for 22 years. nice town, taxes a bit high. But it has a good school system.
  10. Be careful of the cheaper models. They don't have the filitered current needed for electronics and can easily destroy the cercuits of a heating system. A transfer box is also a muct. I have a 8kw Generac that runs most esential systems in the house. Heat, well, some lights, refrogerator. If I ever have to replace it, I'm going to a 11kw.
  11. The issue of rentals was the reason that smith and wession closed their public range on the manufacturing property. Renting firearms has it's own set of issues. How do you hold someone responsible for the basic safety areas when they have zero experience? As in the case with S&W, what does the range owners do if it's found they transferred a gun to a felon ? They have a significant investment in that facility and having an employee screw up can doom them. For years, Sig academy has make it mandatory that ANYONE taking a course on their property have a current state criminal background check on file, be law enforcement or a current carry permit. Many private clubs are going the same route.
  12. You will be paying it every year as cars are taxed under each town's tax rate as property. However every year as the vehicles depreciate the cost goes down. As far as a NH tax return, if all your investments are IRA's and 401's then you won't pay. I let an accountant handle it. Like anywhere it depends. A 50 x 75 in rye could go for a million. Way up north you can get an acre to not much but you have to drill the well, and install septic. Then you might have to run electric. A lot next to mine sold a few years back for almost 100K for a 2.4 acre parcel. But this area (Seacoast) is the most expensive in the state. My real estate agent was from Warner. Felt bad she had to drive down south every time I came up to look at homes in the seacoast area.
  13. Check these dvd's out. They have some outstanding entry level primers that will give you an idea of what's involved in IDPA and the rules for equipment, shooting matches and tricks to stage success. http://panteaoproductions.com/dvds?category=competitive
  14. Actually it's not. The academy is in Epping, NH. Their former office, manufacturing and warehouse was in Exeter nut moved to Newington last year. Chris now knows where it's located.
