  1. I tried to teach my daughter to drive. Let's just say, like her mother, she didn't listen. We hired a driving instructor who did the lessons then took her for the test. She passed. That was 20 years ago. It's still scary to drive with her. I love my daughter, but DAMN!
  2. Is there any way you can run nat gas outside to a grill? I did that some years ago and got a primo used Weber Genesis on Craigs List. No more tanks, no more running out mid cook. Something to consider.
  3. Yup! No doubt NJ AG Gerbil Greaseball sent them a threatening letter and their shyster advised them to cave.
  4. It's not so much the gun as the load. Semi auto will help, but most won't cycle really light loads. You might want to try some really light target loads in a pump.
  5. Really? I thought it was just stupid, for the same reason I have you on my ignore list, stupidity.
  6. Typical for kids. What's mine is mine but what's yours is ours? Not to be a dick, but I'm tired of the stupidity.
  7. Property taxes are out of control in Florida? Compared to New Jermany?
  8. You might want to check out Amramp.com.
  9. I don't understand the 7 vs 8 round issue. For HD you are going to be victorious or dead after one or two rounds. The 1911 was designed for 7 round mags. Why look for trouble over 1 round that makes no difference?
  10. Nat gas is the way to go for sure. I got a lightly used Weber Genesis Gold with a side burner on Craigslist. I ran the gas line under the deck to a spot that I could swing the grill around for a Summer location away from the sliding door to a Winter location in front of the sliding door to the deck. We do almost all frying on the side burner outside so no grease in the kitchen. Wish I had done this when I built the deck thirty years ago.
  11. Here in New Jackoff, she'd by cuffed and stuffed for having the audacity to defend herself. Some people here have a body bag bought for cash at a show and believe that if a body isn't found on your living room floor you are not involved. New carpet is cheaper than a lawyer.
  12. The effect of this will be the same as when the 15 round rule went in. Nothing. 10 round mags will go to the range. Other mags will go where the 20 and 30 round mags went before, wherever that is. Even Jersey cops, not known to be mental giants, will realize that if you don't stir a crock of shit it won't stink or get you shot to death by screwing with those who were never the problem and never will be.
  13. OP, FWIW, both my wife and my daughter don't do well with pistols, slides, etc. Both are comfortable with J frames. They believe, as do I, that almost any negative encounter will require no more than one or two rounds to end. Do they carry in contravention of NJs unconstitutional laws? Who knows? Better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6 or raped by whomever.
  14. You're not going to get these arrogant a**wipes to obey the law. They think they ARE the law.
  15. ^This. Schmuckerberg will merely pass down the word that they aren't compatible with the FB family and their supervisors will find/manufacture reasons to terminate them.
  16. The consensus seems to be Magpul. Many thanks to all.
  17. Should the 10 round mag situation be sustained, which are the most reliable 10 rounders to have? Back in the day, I had USGI 20s and 30s which were 100%. Naturally, I pounded them flat and junked them as demanded by Jimmy "one term" Florio. I replaced them with 10 round C-products mags. I still have the CP 10s. What's better and more reliable?
  18. Three orders from TR. Prices competitive if not the lowest. Fast shipping. No problems.
  19. Take your magazines and pack them away with the 20s and 30s you "illegally" put away when Florio got his way. Buy some 10s for range use.
  20. May I add, no RKBA decals or stickers on the vehicle. Some LEO seem to think that constitutes probable cause to hassle you .
  21. I never had any guns until 1968 in the Army. I don't like or dislike them. They are a tool like any other. I have them to protect myself, my family, and my freedom. If I have to use them to kill again I will, regardless of the aggressor.
  22. Many years ago, I applied for an 03 FFL. Two ATF people interviewed me in my home. One was OK. The other gave me reason to understand why brothers and sisters can't marry. I got the 03 but also was advised that I had to contact the NJSP. I spoke to some form of human debris that I can only describe as one of their chief AHs who proceeded to threaten me with all sorts of hell and damnation should I use the 03 FFL to purchase a gun. I never used it and it expired, but it was an education learning the type of sewage we allow to wear a badge in this state and pay on our nickel.
