  1. Great job Saturday Troy! Our angle of training is to simulate the Urban line of defense and the stress associated with it. I think I saw you sweating!. Be safe. Anthony
  2. No financial struggles. We have managed to build a nice war chest and we are now using a huge chunk of it for range improvements and repairs and upgrades. If you have not noticed any of the upgrades you will soon. We now have vending machines in the clubhouse! Pro Shop coming soon. We might even squeeze in a few more ranges. No indoor range on the horizon due to the high cost associated to build one. You never know in the future. Would members be willing to pay double the dues to fund such a project? A small percentage like me would but the majority, especially the old time members are quite happy with an all outdoor format.
  3. I really cannot wait to meet you (your buying dinner! LOL). The SAF always holds the GRPC in a State that is ANTI Gun. Alan Gotleib is such a ball buster! I was with Viden yesterday at the ANJRPC board meeting he is a good man. Peace out! Anthony BTW - you are not irritating me, in order to build momentum for a unified front we must hear everyones opinion and take on the issues. I have been known to be a little opinionated myself!
  4. Look forward to meeting you also on Thursday Joel hope you can make it. Yes GFH Radio is a commercial for GFH, I am a capitalist and the bills do need to get paid. I started the radio show as a way to vent my frustrations and maybe unify the frustrated 2A patriots in this State. And I am still on track to do that. As of last week 44,000 people downloaded episode 10. If I can use this show to wake up and mobilize even a few closet gun owners it will be a good thing. As far as being an accurate news source, the news items we report on are as accurate as when we read them. With regards to guests like Frank I believe it is a great way to put our activists out there and have them explain their stance. Starting next week the entire focus of my show will be to focus on the politicians and our upcoming elections this November. Maybe we can awaken the sleeping 1 million NJ gun owners and vote some bums out or at least send a message to Trenton. My favorite or is also SAF and I will be at the GRPC next month in Chicago. I also do not agree with everything the NRA does by a long shot but unfortunately for us it is the best we have at the moment. It is a shame that such a small number of us have to try and fight for the majority of apathetic do nothings. Anthony
  5. Hey Matt, I am just curious as to why you feel the NJ2AS is a joke?
  6. Please email me and I will see what the problem is. We just switched from two elderly volunteers who were running membership to a professional company (the same one that handles our newsletter). There have been some transition problems and we have seen the complaints decrease tremendously oner the past three months. Sorry about that. Anthony
  7. Last thursday the range trustees at Cherry Ridge voted to increase the number of guest a member can bring to shoot. You can now bring two guests, still using one port and the fee is still $25.00 pp.The Range officers have been made aware of the new policy and the website and newsletter will be changed to reflect the new policy. The $25.00 guest fee was designed by the trustees long ago to try and "encourage" guests to become a member. Besides all of the "shortcomings" of the range it is still the best deal in the State as far as cost goes.
  8. I get to shoot ballistic gel at the arsenal and it is amazing what a shotgun will do! Great stuff.
  9. When we go out to the farm we shoot some coins long distance and try to either wing them or hole them out. They make for great conversation pieces in your pocket and serve as a reminder of that "impossible" shot.
  10. Yes, keep away from serrated knifes. We had classes where we attacked pig carcasses with clothing wrapped on them and the serrated and 1/2 serrated blades would always get snagged in the zipper or a seam.
  11. Here is the link. http://www.friendsofnra.org/EventDetails.aspx?eid=8512&sid=31 The table price is incorrect it is $500 for 10 people per table Anthony
  12. The ffl is the Bullet Hole Ray. Will that have any bearing as to whether you attend or not? Can't help that. I head up this dinner to raise money for the FNRA for grant money for the State ALL politics and BS aside.
  13. If they buy a table of 10 we will put an NJ2AS sign on it
  14. Tom, we are not even allowed to mention the NRA. This is a separate not for profit. The NRA Foundation. All of the money raised is tax free and is used to fund and promote the shooting sports in the States the dinner is being held. If we allow political organizations to speak and display at the dinner it violate that tax exempt status.
