SCOTUS agrees to hear 2A case from NYC
njpilot replied to TR20's topic in National Gun Law Discussion
Great. I've been in FL full time for 4 1/2 years. Doesn't mean I don't support the 2nd Amendment for shithole communist states like NJ. Guess you don't care. -
SCOTUS agrees to hear 2A case from NYC
njpilot replied to TR20's topic in National Gun Law Discussion
Wow. Both of you basically said no matter what the outcome, this case does nothing for NJ. I explained how it possibly could and you both chime in again that nope, it's a done deal. The case will be a loser. Dont know if you're both clairvoyant or already have inside info from people sitting on the bench or what. Great attitude though. -
SCOTUS agrees to hear 2A case from NYC

Guessing you guys haven't read the thread. Depending how SCOTUS rules, it could open the door for revisiting many rulings supporting anti-gun restrictions and the scrutiny required in readdressing them. -
Joe Biden: Time to Sue Gun Manufacturers
njpilot replied to Sniper's topic in National Gun Law Discussion
Well AVB, you just proved what I often say about liberals. You don't support the 2nd Amendment at all, you're just a liberal who likes to play with guns, maybe they make you feel big and bad or just think they're cool, I don't know. What I do know, based on your many statements, you don't support the 2nd. -
This looks nice. https://www.ammoland.com/2019/10/gun-deals-cedar-mill-discreet-concealment-guitar-rifle-case/?utm_source=Ammoland+Subscribers&utm_campaign=d1665c62bc-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_6f6fac3eaa-d1665c62bc-20726709#axzz61DYTdmTE

That's a lot of time in type. Again, being low and slow and losing an engine can be challenging in most aircraft. Most likely, we'all find out what happened after the investigation.

Anybody watching Pelosi Schiff news conference

Agreed. I always refer to her as marshmallow brains or bubblegum brains -
Having flown in and out of Bradley many times, they have long runways and a few miles to the northwest are 2 airports, Barnes and Westover which have very long runways. As stated before, things can go bad quickly, low and slow on take-off after an engine loss. Not criticizing the pilots, but these pilots don't fly this aircraft everyday. I don't know what kind of refresher training they may do and how frequently. I used to go to Flight Safety International and fly a full motion multi-million dollar simulator twice a year and they would give us multiple failures to try and overload us. It is easy to get distracted. It's possible the pilots just messed up. Sad. Eventually we'll find out what happened.

There have been a number of knife attacks in France as well as England. When oh when will they ban these dangerous weapons that run around the streets stabbing people. On a serious note, 4 officers lost their lives. Do police officers in France carry guns? If police officers, armed or not, can't stop a knife wielding killer, how would any unarmed citizen, there or here, defend themselves? https://www.foxnews.com/world/paris-knife-attack-police-station

Homeowner Stops Home Invasion With AR15
njpilot replied to njpilot's topic in Good Guy stops a Bad guy......
What's your problem? Maybe it is real, maybe fake? Raz-o was giving his opinion on why he thought it was real. Why do you always have to attack people the way you do? If you don't agree with their opinion, state something in a sane and respectful way. Raz-o didn't bash you personally, just gave his opinion. You seem to do this a lot. -
Can't be true. Aren't we constantly told these arms are not used or are not necessarily for self defense? https://www.ammoland.com/2019/09/home-invasion-stopped-with-ar-15-ruger-ar-556-video/?utm_source=Ammoland+Subscribers&utm_campaign=bffd066f72-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_6f6fac3eaa-bffd066f72-20726709#axzz616eSQgz1

Apparently mental illness isn't, according to this wife of a dem Rep. https://www.theblaze.com/news/dems-wife-slams-obamacare-in-instagram-video?utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Daily-Newsletter__AM-Final 2019-09-10&utm_term=TheBlaze Daily AM - last 270 days Amanda Cunningham, the wife of Rep. Joe Cunningham (D-S.C.), complained about the limitations of her government-subsidized healthcare program, one associated with former President Obama's landmark legislation. "I've been going over my, this is a not-a-bill bill here from Blue Cross Blue Shield, and realizing that once again, all of my mental health therapy sessions are denied, in addition to all of our marriage counseling sessions," she explained.

Texas to defy NRA on gun background checks
njpilot replied to PK90's topic in National Gun Law Discussion
Sure it could, but realistically, without registration, a person can sell their firearm without going through NICS, to someone's who may use it in a crime and they wouldn't know how that person got the gun. With registration, they can trace it back to the seller and then charge the seller for an "illegal" sale. I'm not saying I agree with registration, just that I don't think they'd go along with this without registration. They'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone in that they'd have registration so when an asshat dem gets into office and orders mandatory "buyback", they know what everyone, who registered, has. -
I got a Capital One when Cabelas was bought and their card replaced. Have never used it. I believe Cap One is one of the anti-gun credit companies. I have Discover, didn't know they offer it. Will have to look into that. Thanks Kevin.

Yeah, I don't either, but someone else mentioned it after. I've been meaning to sign up for Credit Sesame as, I think Raz-O suggested, but never did. Gonna sign up now. Don't know if they would be able to find out how long you've had them.

Just got an email asking for proof of monitoring service from date I filed my claim or amend to accept their free service. Anyone else hear from them? You must either verify or amend your claim by October 15, 2019. If you do not, your claim for alternative compensation will be denied. • To verify your claim for alternative compensation, you must provide the name of your credit monitoring service that you had in place when you filed your claim. - OR - • You can amend your claim to request free credit monitoring instead of alternative compensation.

BIG BAD DORIAN! Godspeed to our southernmost NJGF members...
njpilot replied to Mrs. Peel's topic in General Discussion
I filled my 3 gas cans for the season a few weeks ago and have about 5 cases of water. We drink a lot of bottled water so I buy them regularly. Let myself get caught short 2 years ago with Irma, won't do that again. Good amount of food and full tank. Ran generator today. Local store shelves were emptied on Thu, crazy, but stores were getting deliveries to replace already. Luckily, where I live, with the last 2, Mathew in 2016 and Irma in 2017, we never lost power and no damage. Hoping for the same this time. Be safe other Floridians, Georgians and South Carolinians.
