  1. I recently Moved and went to change my FID Card to my new address. First and foremost my new town has been very friendly and helpful with this process. What I didn't know is that it's basically like starting over Minus the $5.00 for the initial card. I have to get Fingerprinted again. This time at my own expense, When I initially got my card 10 Years ago I did it right at the Police station . They also need to send letters for 2 references. I was always under the impression that changing address was just that a change of address because all these steps were done years ago. Has anyone changed there's lately an Gone through this same process again ?
  2. I Learned the basics in the East Brunswick High School Parking lot in the very back that used to be used for Driving tests or classes. I Then took the MSF course at Brookdale. It was nice because the last day the administered the test all you had to do was go to DMV the following day and get your Endorsment. The course is the way to go.
  3. If you can't get it to function you can always send it back to Sig. For $56 they will go over it with a fine tooth comb. They will put it back together and function test it. ........Just a suggestion.
  4. I've used these guys as an FFL for a few things and they are great. Real friendly guys .
  5. Aberdeen Here too. I've never waited more then 29 days for a Permit. No complaints about the wait from me. I'm also a member of CJRPC and I will say that the upfront cost is high it is worth it.
  6. I am under the impression that the .45 is not compatible with the 9,.40,and 357Sig. I was told by the Sig Sauer Customer service that the .45 platform with have its own Frame sizes to change out but not part of the caliber Conversion modularity of the other calibers.
  7. Reliable Carbonics in New Brunswick fill them cheap. To purchase one try the Brewers Apprentice in Freehold.

  11. Welcome. I grew Up in E.B. My parents still live there. How is the Police Department with Permits there ?
  12. I dropped my S&W off at a fedex store. You just have to declare it. The only other catch is that you must sign for it on delivery so I actually had it shipped to the hub and I spicked it up from there. It was really easy and they were very good with providing tracking info on the way back.
  13. If you want to get the magazines directly through EAA heres the link but be warned there not cheap. http://www.eaacorp.c...roducts_id=9701 I'll keep looking.
  14. I have a PAP ond love it. I disagree with opening up the mag well. To open it up for only 5 more rounds seems pointless to me. Plus you then have to find 15rd mags which might be more labor intensive then just buying 10rd mags online. All in all I love it though it never jams and its a ton of fun to shoot.
  15. Welcome from Aberdeen. My zip is actually aberdeen and Keyport, but Iuse the Aberdeen police station near the train station. Every time I've gone for a pemit is has been exactly 1 month. The detectives in Aberdeenhave always been helpful and friendly. .. BTW have you seen all the boats washed up in frontof the Blue Rock ?
  16. While having a BBQ at my Parents house in East Brunswick yesterday I saw the B-24 fly over a little after 5. The sound of Radial engines is unmistakable. That a good looking bird.
  17. My bank lets me pay my mortgage weekly. If you can I recomend this. More of your payment goes towards principal this way.
  18. Does anyone know the official answer to pinning high caps mags for a gun that does not offer NJ legal mags. Several vendors have said they can pin the mags others say that even if an ffl pins them they are considered blocked. They continued to say that it is illegal to have blocked mags in the people republic of New Jersey. The magazines in question only come in 19rd and the manufacturer does not offer any lower capacity magazines. Any solid information would be greatly appreciated.
  19. I have a PAP. I had to dremel a bit of the mag where it meets the disconenct to make them remove cleanly. I just sanded them lightly until they came out without breaking your finger on the mag release. The area that you have to sand is thick but I still recomend taking it slowl with the Dremel.
  20. I just bought a few boxes of it in .45 acp last weekend. I saw on the side of the box it said made by sellier and the other box said made and boxed by Fiocchi.
  21. The guy in the video with Adam is my buddy Matt. He started at the stuff yer Face in East Brunswick on Rt 18 back in the day. They also have a good beer selection for a college bar. Just be careful where you park Rutger PD is tough when it comes to enforcing the "law."
  22. Can you use an ultra sonic cleaner on a Blued Firearm ?
  23. The biggest thing to remember is that you want to direct people to the mobile version of the site because they are reading the code from a phone. They are cool but it realy just eliminates the step of you typing wwww......
