  1. No safe queens for me. I can't help myself, I have to shoot them. But I know what you mean, I would have to think about it for about 2 minutes.
  2. That would be about right. Beautiful! How does it shoot?
  3. My vote would be an Ed Brown all blue with naked slide.
  4. I've found leading is never a problem with 38 special, as long as you are reloading target loads. When you start pushing those loads, or load +P THEN leading becomes a problem.

    24 gauge

Learn something new every day! Never new 24 gauge existed
  6. I have it in 38 +P and I'm telling you, thats painful enough
  7. What happened? Double charge? Squib?
  8. Les Baer. I've been shooting my Les Baer Wadcutter for about 2 years, never had a misfeed, failure to eject, not even a stovepipe. I only clean it after about 500 rounds at best. Ive shot many, many thousands. Like Timex used to say "it just keeps ticking". Oh yeah, the most accurate 1911 I own!
  9. Just kidding, couldn't help myself
  10. Try Leobrass.com, $50.00 per 1000 plus shipping for 45 cal. once fired brass. Good prices for all other brass too. I've never had a problem with them.
  11. I've never used Universal Clays, but one of my favorite loads for 45 is 3.8 gr. "regular Clays" with 200 gr. lswc.
  12. I recieved 5 thousand Win. large pistol primers last week from Powder Valley. They said they are taking delivery of 20 million Wolf large and small primers July 15. WOW, 20 MILLION ! That should help
  13. Great chart! I keep one just like it taped to the inside of my pistol box. It really helps when I'm at the range.
  14. Sounds like I'm in the minority here, but I clean my pistols after about the 3rd trip to the range. That would be around 500 rounds per gun. I always wipe them down after every trip though. Rifles after every trip to keep the bore clean.
