  1. sometimes the luger stock boards are found on EBay............. original stock boards cost a mint...............
  2. we will have to bring that to light at the State House, Trenton. But, I'm still in South Joisey. Have a good week-end
  3. SOUTHERN New Jersey consists of 8 counties: Atlantic Burlington Camden Cape May Cumberland Gloucester Ocean Salem So, I am not in Central N.J.
  4. southeren N.J. off Route 130 near entrance Burlington-Bristol Bridge. Not far from exit 5, NJ Turnpike
  5. I have bit over 2000 federal small rifle primers
  6. one answer ro expensive ammo is to re-load....................if you can drive you can re-load............driving, in my opinion, is more dangereous
  7. I had listed federal small rifle primers for trade, but deleted it as no one was interested. I also have some powder. Probably have some used 380 cases somewhere. I moved in July and trying to sort out everything. Let me know exactly what you are in need of...............

    Rust???

any rust ????? use 000 steel wool with a few drops of oil to wipe rust off. 0000 steel wool will not take off finish..................
  9. S&W 669. very compact. adjustable rear sight. 14 round mag....... Qualified with it several years as a carry gun..........no longer made...
  10. you almost have a complete 'rig'. Rig being pistol, holster, spare mag and loading tool.....................
  11. anyone seeking military records information from V.A., and are told such information cannot be verified though records. That happened to me in 1998. Time after time they told me 'nothing' I asked could be verified through records. When I finally got to 'talk' to a live person I found out my records were 'not on file' in other words they did not know where my records were. Not destroyed, not burned, just missing. Earlier they could have told me my records are missing. But, no they kept saying they could not verify the information I wanted. Of course not. no records. Why not tell me that ???? As I've said, when the government screws up they clam up................. I just asked for records information via computer. Lets see what they have to say in 2009 ???..........
  12. my outlook on jobs has always been toward......federal, state, county or municipal. Why: each have their own benefits, i.e. health care, good pay, sick time, retirement, etc, etc. You can't count of those items in civilian companies........Myself. Retired military, retired municipality, retired Social Security. See, all governmental agencies........with a retirement check.... As stated, finish college before anything else.......that piece of paper opens doors for almost anything. For horizon views check out the federal and state levels of law enforcement. No charge to look............. I have total of about 40 years various levels and type of law enforcement experience with little regret and would probably do it again......................
  13. opening a gun shop would best be for a retiree.........a retiree has income and can survive lean period of time after starting a business. or, use wife during the day, if she does not work. Family way best. No payroll (to speak of) and the money stays in the cash register
  14. PK90..................In 2003 I was going on 73 when I tried for my renewal permit. Sent in qualifying cert. plus $50. Turned down flat (age).......... I concur with concept of age discrimination, but such acton on my part would require a sum of money. And, if delayed a few years I'll probably be dead. So they would win (again)
