  1. I'd be willing to bet the same. If you construct and sound proof it properly and don't announce it to the world you'll be fine. Disclaimer: I am certainly not one of these people. Basement is too small
  2. I only get nervous during take offs - when you don't have enough air speed to do anything in the event of some type of failure. I'm covered in sweat from head to toe.
  3. Not much of a choice on where to sight it in. It's dark by 4:30 and I work until 5pm. Davis is the only option.
  4. My EDC is a Benchmade Griptilian 551-ORG. It has yet to not impress me. Easy one-handed opening/closing, great 154CM blade, and very comfortable handle. I prefer it over my Spyderco Pen Knife. Griptilian:
  5. I want to extend my NJ hunting season so I ordered a Wolf/CVA 209 muzzleloader in camo. For $270 shipped it came with a scope and case and the reviews are awesome so I went for it. I'll be picking it up from the Gander Mountain store in Middletown, NY on Thursday and hopefully sighting it in that night at Davis in Goshen. Any recommendations for ammo and pyrodex?
  6. I'd be willing to bet he took it with a 12 or 20 ga. slug gun.
  7. Damn. Right near me. Hope this ends as well as it could.
  8. Amazing! That 829 lb'er is truly something else. I've got a photo of a monster in my neighbors driveway - probably around 600 lbs+. Didn't see him during 6 day firearm, though. Too bad.
  9. This couldn't be further from the truth.
  10. I have a CRF250X and I have it insured with Rider in case someone every gave me a hard time on the trails. I've been riding for many years and had more bikes than I can remember insured by Rider. Never had an issue.
  11. I went from Blackberry to iPhone and couldn't be more ecstatic about it. The Blackberry is inferior in every way, IMHO.
  12. Congrats. You'll be totally happy with it. I love it.
  13. I use the Ivyskin Wrangler case for my iPhone 4S. It's AWESOME and has saved my phone from a ton of drops. It's also got an awesome layer of glass that goes over the iPhone's screen. It's not bulky at all and slips in and out of your pocket with ease yet remains grippy. I highly recommend it. http://www.ivyskin.c...e.html?limit=20
  14. Now DEMS fightin' words!
  15. I'll play for anyone that's paying! Hope you're doing well, Eric! P.S. 1000th post! Woop woop!
  16. I didn't even take a shot at the spike. All I had was a head shot then he caught a whiff of me and bolted. Those damn prima donna's couldn't learn their dance moves! JK. Band is together and thriving - love it. Just took a lot of time and dedication from the get go in order for it to become autonomous. You can check us out here: www.acleangetawaymusic.com www.facebook.com/acleangetawaymusic www.youtube.com/acleangetawaymusic I see NJGF has come quite a ways since I visited last. Very happy to see it and all of you thriving, as well.
  17. Congrats! Treat yourself to a job well done with a new firearm
  18. It's strictly a platonic love! I was an avid NJGF poster but took a break from guns for a while to concentrate on some musical/work endeavors. Hunting season brought on the firearms itch and I'm happy to say that my shotgun got a lot of use during bird/small game season. Got skunked during 6 day firearm but just barely - almost had a spike. I'll try to get a deer during winter bow with my crossbow.
  19. Suck one. When you're done, suck another one. I'M BACK, BABY.
  20. I got skunked in zone 6. Might buy a winter bow permit and get out there with the crossbow. Saw some ridiculous deer while doing drives. Of course I was the driver without a gun.
  21. I usually hunt squirrel during pheasant season. I'll go out for birds in the morning and when I either bag out or get skunked I get over to a different spot and have a lot of fun blasting away. I usually use my 12 ga. double barrel Rossi from the 70's or a Mossberg 500 12 ga. 6-7 bird shot is usually what I use. The squirrels are definitely tasty when prepared correctly. Make sure to blanch the meat before placing it in a pan. It lightens the meat.

I wouldn't shim my ladder with one of those things.
