  1. I carried one for years, I also got one for my son to use in iraq. Comes in very handy. Semper Fidelis.....
  2. Here is a picture of the plate you are asking about. It is the Governor's tag.... http://www.worldlicenceplates.com/jpglps/USA_NJ_OT.jpg
  3. Personally I like it and have no problems using it. Like anything else it must be set up correctly, it is not rocker science to do this correctly. Here is another place where you can find good information on just your questions.... good people here too. Lot od good info to answer any of your questions.... http://manual.loadmastervideos.com/ http://forums.loadmastervideos.com/forums/index.php
  4. Just been at Dixion's Saturday with the wife... Never been to any of Dixion's shows... yet I would like to give it a try though.
  5. Yes, this is what I use 90% of the time to shoot. I have a T/C Hawken percussion in .45 cal. T/C Hawken flint in .50 cal T/C Scout carbine in .50 cal Shooting Black powder is lots of fun. I just got a new Green Mountain .50 cal flintlock barrel for Fathers day, I can't wait to take to the range and sight it in.... Been shooting Traditional muzzle loaders since the 1970's. Never used a shotgun for deer, I like the precise point of impact on vitals, not a pot luck hit.
  6. I will do Sir.... Ditto.... I don't get it either, hell I own 6 revolvers from Ruger, and they all go bang every time I pull the trigger... Again, Thank you gentlemen for your help. Bill
  7. I live in Audubon, my son lives down the road in Haddon Township. We both belong to South Jersey Shooting Club in Winslow. If you want to try there. It is not for me to try out any pistols, it is just to help my son try the ones he's interested in and decide what is best for him. I truly appreciate the offer, thank you.
  8. Again, Thank you all for your input and comments. I sincerely appreciate it. My philosophy has always been; "money is a non-issue compared to my life". I only want the best, meaning this: "reliability each and every time I squeeze the trigger... I want it to go bang, Period!" I will have my son try out a few pistols before his purchase, I believe there is a place up by sea girt where I can try them out. Personally, I'd rather he just use a revolver, but they are not allowed to carry them. Hell, he cannot even carry my 35 year old Colt Combat commander, has to use a double action pistol for off duty carry. What has happened to my America? What has happened to Pistols & Revolvers made of blued steel and real wood? Everything is a$$ backwards anymore. I understand what you mean by upgraded, fancy, with all of the bells and whistles, but ... I'd choose that old stripper Ford F150 each and every time... if it would start every time I turned the key. Thanks Guys for all of your help...
  9. Thank you gentlemen for filling me in. I truly appreciate the help. Bill
  10. May I have your opinions of the following pistols? Between the Ruger P90 and the Sig Sauer p220 ... This choice is going to be used as an off duty piece. 1) Can you please advise me on which is the most reliable. In other words which would you bet your life on? 2) Do you know where my son can shoot one or both of these pistols before actual purchase? (Any place that will allow you to try out the pistols in question?) I have no clue and I'm unable to give an answer from personal experience between the two. As an old fart, I only have experience with the wheel guns. Thank you for any and all assistance.
  11. imperialfish, Order a few styles/types from them. Try them on the piece, and pick the one you really like the most. Send the others back to the company for refund. I have done this with the grips I use for my S&W N frame Model 22-4 Revolver. Worked for me without any problems. Bill
  12. Well.... Maybe the woman removes her blouse and rapidly rubs her breasts together in an attempt to create sparks. Did you ever think of that one, or at least envision it?
  13. This is a classic Jersey response, I love it.....
  14. SOB's picked me as a communist AK-47. Geez, I thought I would be an old bolt action rifle or flintlock muzzle loader (lol)
  15. Kriek Lambic belgian beer, heavily fruit flavor, double fermented. Comes in peach, Cherry, Rasberry, etc... excellent stuff but runs about $5.00 a 16 oz. bottle. ******************************* Never tried it, but I had Poo-tang in Vietnam years ago.
