  1. Hey... Congrats Chris.. Best wishes to you both.
  2. How about the cost savings for transport? That's probably a big prtion of the impetus for this. Imagine cutting the weight of hundreds of thousands of rounds that have to be flown in... But I agree... Give me lethality.
  3. Happy Birthday.... And many more...
  4. Happy 40th.... I have another 6 months to go...
  5. I will be there. It's been a while. I'll bring my 92FS for tryouts.
  6. Betcha didn't see this coming when you posted that web site! I love a good deabte no matter what the subject. CPR RC Engineering '94
  7. Thanks and right back at all the dads. This is my first one and it is pretty special. My son got me a Leatherman Rogue engraved with "For Dad, Love Mike... Happy First Father's Day" My first heirloom...
  8. I am going to try my damndest to be there. This baby thing sure sucks time out of my day...
  9. OK so I am set on a Rem 700. Started to do some research... There are A LOT of choices. I am thinking of 22-250 in caliber so that narrows choices some. I was looking at : SPS Stainless, SPS Varmint, Varmint SF, or 700 VTR... Some of it may be purely cosmetic. Any thoughts on the above? Is there anywhere in Central NJ where I could handle one? Thoughts, suggestions, etc. are always appreciated. Thanks All... CPR
  10. Another Rangers fan here. Season ticket holder for 8 years until 09-10. GO HAWKS!!!

    PS90 Fun

OK after seeing this and knowing a little about the PS90 it is now on my "list"... Didn't know it was available with NJ compliant mags. Where do I get one?
  13. Lefty Remington 700 (22-250 probably) Mossberg 500 I also want to get into reloading soon.
  14. I almost forgot about the 2D version. Yup... Played that too. CRAP. I'm old.
  15. Thanks for the info/review. I never buy games without a positive review anymore. Been burned too many times. I am so glad a western FPS is out again. I used to be real into FPS games on the PC going back to the original Doom and Castle Wolfenstein in college. (Am I dating myself)? One of my favorites was Outlaws by Lucas Arts back in the 90's. Will be getting the game this weekend I guess...
  16. Me too... That was a good one...
  17. I concur with the German Shepherd route. Our Shepherd is 12 years old and still intimidating to strangers. SHe is the sweetest dog but when she has to she's real scary and real tough... It's all in the training.

    Age...

Holding on to 39 with a death grip.
  19. I got mine at BA in February 2009. I like it a lot. I bring it to the BA meets. That is when I get time to show up... When the post goes up in the events and meetups thread, post that you'll be there and want to try both. Be careful though, you'll end up wanting waaaaay more than just one revolver. When I first started going last year, I thought I would be content with my two handguns.... Now I am up to 5 handguns and three rifles. We all have the sickness...
  20. Thanks for the heads up... I was going to stop in early Sunday to check ammo stock... Oh well...
  21. I think fun will be the priority on this one. Blowing up fruit, coconuts adn milk bottles sounds like a blast. I don't have a need for tactical at this point. That may be the next obesession. Have yet to fire an AR so who knows. I can't add too many things at once.
  22. Ok.... So I was thinking of a Mini 14 in .223. But I just recently picked up a PC-4 at a good price and figure it is so similar to the Mini 14 that I should think of something else. So now I am thinking bolt action. I am lefty so that plays into it. I don't want to spend a fortune on the rifle or the ammunition. Just looking for something different and a little fun. Maybe for the Wednesday Range 14 outings. I know this is a loaded question but have at it, fellas. Thanks. CPR
  23. BTW... What's involved in becoming an RSO?...Seems like a good idea.
  24. OK... Admittedly I haven't been to a meet up in a while so I am glad to hear that the RSO presence is getting better. I have only been shooting for a little over a year and as a noob I think it would be helpful for some signage or written rules/ common sense guidelines to be posted very conspicuously along the rear benches. And I already stated that I may only go during NJGF meet ups to feel safer. We usually dominate the lanes. And feel free to correct me anytime you see something that I am doing is not right.
  25. Is it just me or does there seem to be a need for more range presence from the BA staff. It's getting to the point where I'll only go on NJGF meetups there. I have been there many times when no one is checking on safe procedures.
