  1. Dicks in Princeton had several boxes of 500 Rd federal target loads for around $22.00 about 2 weeks ago, I purchased 4 boxes and they had about 7 or 8 left. Give them a call they might still have some. .22 bulk has been some of the hardest ammo to find. I wish I got more while I was there :x I'm on the hunt for it also, I will keep you posted if I find any.
  2. I will be at the Allentown show at the end of the month. Probably Saturday. Tony, from what I hear this was legit a few years ago regarding the 20-30 Rd AR mags, if you block the mag with a piece of wood to the point where it only accept 15 Rds or less it is NJ legal...MAKE SURE to double check on this, as I am not more than 50% sure on the legality. I never did it myself so I never checked. TBTrout, I couldnt agree with you more, that kind of thing can leave a very bad taste in your mouth and leave yourself wondering, "what the hell am I doing here"
  3. Beautiful 10/22 AH141, my wife loves it, I think that will be our next purchase. We saw one similar in sayereville for sale. Tony: That stock was unfinished?? How did you get it looking like that?? I have a Franchi Semi-Auto 12 gauge that I refinished the stock on, and it came out looking like crap! Dull and no shine. I stripped all the old stuff off, sanded it down, stained it with minwax 3 coats, and put coat after coat of that garbage that benchwood casey makes for stocks. Any Tips? I would like to do it over again, I'm not happy with the way it looks.
  4. From Left to Right: 10/22; UGLY stevens youth model 73, single shot bolt action; Mossberg 702 Plinkster (wifes) we just picked that up on monday from the sportsmans center...she liked the color. Scope is on order from Cheaper Than Dirt; and lastly my Fav. Marlin model 7000. Check out the Stevens, I bought this for $15 a few years ago and never did anything with it. Take a look at the BOLT and wood filler in the stock! It was not the original stock for the gun I assume...sure looks like that stock would accept a ruger mag?
  5. Thanks Guys! PM Sent Slinger...Pilot, My first apartment was in Stonehurst behind freehold ford! Then I moved to the avalon developement off Rt. 79
  6. I have the guide rod laser installed in my glock 27 ... love it, works great, Very accurate.
  7. Here is another useful site for printable targets. They are good quality, large files. They also have shooting logs if your interested. http://www.reloadbench.com/pdf.html
  8. Thanks guys! I am in Manalapan, which is near Freehold. I have businesses in Freehold, Marlboro, Old Bridge and Ocean Twp.
  9. As of yesterday 5/4/09 Cheyenne Mtn. had plenty of 9mm blazer brass and american eagle. They are limiting only the 9mm to two boxes per customer. The sportsmens center did have quite a few 40 caliber target loads but not to much of anything else. Dicks in freehold has squat, no .22's, no handgun ammo except some flat nose .40 cal and hydra shoks in 9mm .40cal and .45. I agree with the peg system at cheyenne....not a good setup at all.
  10. Hey everyone...new to the forum...wanted to intro myself. I've been collecting for about 15 years or so. Seems like a nice bunch here, nice to meet you all.
