  4. You are the only one who can answer that question.
  5. I am all for gun rights and love my guns, but its pretty obvious the guy was looking for trouble at some point and also found some in the past.Maybe he should move across the bridge and see what rights we have, then he might be grateful for what rights they do have in PA and use some common sense.Im all for CC (and open carry with common sense) but he's lucky that he ran into that cop and not some of the thugs of the inner city while he proudly and legally walked around with his nice weapon in plain view.I say this as I work in and around some of the worst neighborhoods in Philly and at times wish i could CC, but would never want to advertise. The cop was wrong and ignorant of the law and all respects, also think he was very nervous of what might have been the outcome. To add as we are told when breaking the law, ignorance of the law is no excuse. Last point in my opinion, some of the mall ninjas and far out gun freaks do more harm than good to responsible gun owners.
  6. Its not even worth window shopping there, everything seems to be tagged MSRP.Damn shame,it was(previous owner)and could be a hell of a gunshop and range.Nice and close to me also good location right off major highway for others.
  7. Both very nice especially the FN.

  9. finally a NJ gun law that makes makes a "little" sense
  10. The point being made in the first post was what the sign stated and the result Megaman came up with in the end.Someone in the PD posted that sign to discourage multiple gun ownership while being well informed of the law. Personally I am sick of the whole permit process and to add my local small town PD has been pretty good compared to what i have read of others experiences.A couple small hickups with them being uninformed and pressing by myself of the law leading to the Chief making calls to get informed and was resolved. If i didn't press the issues with the pretty girl who hands out the applications i would not have had permits extended or recent multiple permits after the OGAM crap. The problem is from what i have read some PD's want to interpret what they think is right and not take the time to fully understand the law which can be confusing if not studied. The local PD should not be burdened with the expense or the workload of the permit process when they could be doing other work, but I believe some not all do want the involvement/discouragement in the permit process. If someone wants to take this as bashing go right ahead,I have a few good friends in law inforcement and let them know my feelings when having various discussions and they don't seem to have a problem.
  11. Congrats! These are really nice guns with one of the most comfortable grips going, very universal for all sized hands.
  12. Here's a review below with some info. http://www.gunblast.com/RKCampbell_BabyDesertEagle.htm
  13. To be on the safe side find out about extention before it expires. If your lucky and get it done fast, don't use until 30 days after last purchase.
  14. First handgun i owned was a Glock 23 when they first came out just because i wanted one.Recoil of the 40 didn't bother me.Years later looked at "some" guns in 9mm that were over the 15rd mag limit here in Jersey.Being limited to 10 rds of 9mm when faced with the option of higher capacity mags in 40 plus a little more power of the same style gun, thats what i chose. Also own a 15rd 45 and a few 38/357 but thats another story.
  15. Have shot a friends and it was fun,the size really tamed the recoil.Admired the fit and finish of this massive sized auto.Opted for the baby in 40,another cool hunk of steel.
  16. It would depend on condition, original box and paperwork/tool kit, finish and barrel length. These days have seen prices going between $350-$700.
  17. They only offered a replacement pup but not till spring, nothing for medical or refund. What your friend received as compenstation should be how this is handled IMO,especially with no replacement readily available. She did realise the health issues of the breed prior to purchasing. The vet did claim that the infection started prior to her receiving the pup and would provide documentation, also there were other problems discovered at the university, waiting on test results. This can happen even with face to face purchases,we can debate that all day, this doesn't help the problem at hand.Saw the puppy when it arrived it appeared healthy and normal, although I am not an expert. Had purchased an American bulldog from out of state and had flown in no problems years ago.Believe airlines have taken steps from the past per the conditions of cargo holds concerning live animals.
  18. My niece(18) purchased a puppy from the state of Ohio and had it shipped to our state of New Jersey. One day after receiving the puppy at the pup was very sick. She took puppy to local vet for check up.They stated the the puppy had an upper resporatory infection and recommended an overnight stay. Day 2 went to see puppy at local vet. and was told the pup had some kind of seizure during the night.Vet suggested taking pup to the University of Penn vet facility in PA,very well respected. After an overnight stay there they suggested to put the pup down do to its level of sickness. Now niece who lost her mother(my sister) a year ago is without a dog, more trama and serious vet fees. The breeder says it will replace puppy only no refund and nothing for for medical.Worst part they stated no puppys will be available till spring breeding. The was a miniature English bulldog which was expensive and the vet bills even more. What recourse if any does she have for recovering funds for the puppy and medical expenses
