There has to be more to this story. He was probably doing something else and the gov't couldn't stick him with the real crime so the gov't charged him with this BS. It happens ALL THE TIME. You just don't know about it cause the gov't is not allowed to disclose unless its public record and the bad guy will NEVER tell the truth. He just wants your sympathy. ie gov't took my guns, etc

There is nothing to look at, its ugly. My FFL had odered one for someone and he let me look at it. It is a ugly beast.

Bought my first rifle at Rays and my first pistol at Hillsborough shooting center. Both places do not exist today. Both times were very pleasant. I bought from many places ie Bullethole, PK90, Effingers, local FFL, PA gunshows, was always a pleasant experience. Never had a bad experience YET.

This has never happened to me with my gun purchases, but I feel your pain. I would be pissed, too. Especially when its your own birthday present. I hate when someone promises you something and they do not deliver.

As I read this thread, why is the SCAR so appealing to you guys? It just does not do anything for me. It looks like another AR type rifle. Anyway, I think it is legal, so whoever wants it, go for it.

IRS Special Agents are very well armed and have extensive training. They are one of the best trained in Law Enforcement. Also, they are very well funded b/c Congress knows they actually make money for the government.

Good info. This is the 3rd post I have see in the last few days of guy's getting rifles back in less then 90 day's so things are looking up for perspective buyers. My co-worker ordered one and it took 30 days. I was surprise at the fast shipping. His garand was beautiful for $600.00 and it got my attention. The original Red Dawn was on Sunday on some cable channel. I have not seen that movie since I was a teenager. Brings back momorries. One of the best movies of all times. Die hard 1 is still the best.
